A situation.
So to start from the beginning I live in Whistler B.C. a town of 10 000 people and a shitload of tourists/transients.
Some locals here put on an outdoor party out in the woods every full moon for the summer months. May's full moon party was awesome, great location, good vibe. So I'm rolling pretty hard and I'm guessing at around 4 in the morning start randomly talking to some girl. We talk and dance for a while, until I suggest that we go climb a nearby tree. She's immediately down heads off to the tree and is up way up there while I'm just getting started. We both end up about 50 feet up in this tree sitting on some branches watching the party below us. We must've spent a good two hours up in this tree just chatting away, learning every detail about each other. She told me she's addicted to snowboarding (which is pretty much been my sole purpose for the last few years) and we even learned about how we got lost on the exact same part of the mountain this winter and had to hike out for hours. Eventually I ask if we're pretty sturdy up in this tree, and she says ya, so I start making out with her for a few minutes. By now the sun is up and we decide to head down. When we get down everyone I know is gone and everyone she knows is gone so she suggests we make our way to the nearest bus stop which is a few kilometers away. By now the sun is bright in our eyes but we just carry on stumbling down the highway talking...
Once on the bus around 8am we learn her stop is first. and I had to work at 1 that day. I realize I probably should've for her number but perhaps I was nervous of making this e-love seem like something when it was actually nothing. So I tried to play it cool and gave her 15 dollars off at the restaurant I work at and told her to come in for a free lunch and with a goodbye kiss from her she's gone.
Soon after that I had 10 days off, so she may have came in I have no idea, but I didn't see her all month.
The June full moon party came around 2 nights ago and I thought this was a sure way to run into her again but no sign of her...
so what to do now?
1) Do Nothing - perhaps run into her around town, though I'm around town quite a bit and haven't seen her in a month, maybe she lays low.
2) Leave her a message - She told me she's on a 6 month vacation from work because she's trying to get sponsored by her work so that she can stay and work in Canada permanently, as she's from Ireland. So I could leave a quick note to give me a call assuming she'd eventually stop in at her old place of work.
3) Call her - since it is a small town, I could say I'm her friend and lost her number, maybe they'd give it to me, or make up some other reason good reason why I'd need her number. But would that be seriously creepy to suddenly get a call from some party dude?
And why do I seem desperate it that's what you're thinking? I find it extremely hard to meet girls in this town, since ski towns attract too many guys for one, and the girls that are here are vacationers or lame/slutty types. Finding someone with similar interests (edm and snowboarding are my two favorite things) who works and lives here could go way beyond a drug-induced meeting I'm sure.
'Missed Connections' on Craigslist is your only hope. Good luck to you, my friend.

good luck buddy, I worked at Pano this past winter and its a rare occurence to come across a girl who digs both riding and edm. especially difficult if you plan on living in whis for a few years.
If you feel like you should get ahold of her, do it. What are you afraid of? If you do nothing you could end up regretting it for the rest of your life. Connections are rare, don't take what you experienced for granted.

Thanks everyone. I guess I really do have nothing to lose. I've never experienced anything like that before. I guess I'll hafta go in and see what her previous place of work can offer, because that's all I've got to work with right now.

What happened to you was actually just miscommunication. You thought it would be lame to ask for her number and she thought you weren't really into her since you didn't ask for it.
If your town is really that small, then chances are that one of your friends knows a friend of her. Just ask around and get her number and give her a call.
And should it be a lesson for next time to just go ahead and ask. 
Get her number and call her. Don't be ashamed. You already fucked up once by not asking for it so she for sure thinks you're a dickhead. Work with that. Find someone who knows her and tell them you like her and you want to speak with her. They will help you man. Don't be a bitch!

That sucks.
You, however, live in a ski town. And, it's been a month. And, she's Irish.
She's almost certainly found some one else by now.
Why the fuck didn't you ask her for her number?
