Question Unemployment or seeking for a new job? (poll)

Unemployment or seeking for a new job? (poll)

We all know how things are out there and its getting pretty scary tbh. Lots of ppl have lost their jobs and hunting down anything that can get them by. While others are getting nervous about getting canned soon. Of course there are ppl who have really low paying jobs and are seeking something better and still getting no luck.

Made a little poll to see how everyone here is doing .

(I know this journalist from the Globe and Mail that got canned last year and the poor guy been looking for so long and came to a point where hes applying to Walmart and Wendys still no luck.)

Anyone here wanna share their story? If not just vote above.

Not snobby, they are unqualified.

Too many people go into frilly social BS, and don't get educations to add value to our society and get real work done.

How many people have you met, that have done undergrad, and are finishing a masters, and have absolutely no job prospects because they don't have any real world skills? Personally I have met far too many since living in this city.

I guess I am partially in this group of people. Although I do have a bit of experience.

I finished my undergrad in electrical engineering this spring and I am currently looking for a job. Been sending resumes out on a daily basis for the past month with no call backs. Not too worried though cause atleast I get some time off.

That is sorta based on the conversation I had with a friend in regards to how the people that make this world work are getting shafted in terms of pay, while those uneducated are pulling in ridiculous salaries.

And what makes you think that your job is more important or any harder than mine. Can you efficiently do any of the skilled trades. I have two, and managed in both (no jack of all here). Come down to my site, show my boss that you can make him as much money as I do, and I'm sure he'd be willing to give you the same money as me. You didn't want to get your hands dirty, but instead chose to get yourself an insignificant degree, and now you want to call me uneducated???
