WC2002 Who else thinks the WHOLE World Cup is Fixed!!!

i do!!!! and im mega pissed!!! just look at it!!

italy vs mexico, italy had 2 goals dissallowed, the game was made for mexico to win, because mexico are the worse team (easier for korea), italy got screwed, spain vs ireland, spain had 3/4 goals dissallowed, and raul ruled offside 9 times, because ireland are the worse team, today, spain had 3 goals dissallowed (atleast one was PERFECT - the player went over the line, but the ball DIDNT!), and look at the groups, england, argentina, brazil all forced to play each other, while korea play turkey, senegal, all the rubbish teams!

its all fixed for korea to win

what about when ronaldinho got sent off against england, the fixers would want england to win not brazil, and in this game, a korean did exactly the same challange as ronaldinho did and not even a yellow card!

Its a damn disgrace!

You must be joking The only thing I would agree on is that they chose the wrong (unproffesional) ref's (from small football nations)

BRAZIL VS BELGIUM: Wilmots judged to have fouled before his header into goal! Replay shows absolutely NOTHING!!! NO SLIGHT CONTACT!

SOUTH KOREA VS SPAIN: Five minutes into the second half, Ivan Helguera's header from a free-kick was ruled out for a foul inside the penalty area.

Then an extra-time Fernando Morientes header was chalked off when a linesman flagged because he thought the ball had gone out of play before Joaquin provided the cross. The Ball didnt even go over the FUCKING LINE!!!

This must be the worst World Cup ever!

i don't think its fixed. people get with it. people are going to fuck up sometimes. we see that shit all over the place watching our sports.

lol u dont seem to understand football its more than just a major sport to football players and lovers its a pasion and in most of the past world cups there have been fuck ups by the referees but not as much as in this one and i think coup has a point more or less its has been badly planned, i mean theres no enterteinment in the game when u get a player thrown out and i have never seen so many red cards in a world cup as much as these one and come on look of all the goals that have been disallowed against big teams!! to me it seems theres something fishy about it

here in canada, hockey is not just a passion. IT'S LIFE! canadians probably love their hockey as much as any european loves their football. if we did not win the gold medal in the olympics this year, it would have been deemed as a disaster just like in 98. so i hardly see anything wrong if i compared the two sports and how the fans reacted or conducted themselves.

i absolutedly agree with Coup as it was obvious that the referees where trying to make all the big teams go out with dubvious decisions so it would be easier for the Host nations ecspecially S.Korea it annoys me so much ecspecially the italy match all the free kicks went to Fucking Korea!!!!!!!!!

what the hell are you talking about? korea didnt play turkey or senegal. that was japan. korea had to play all of the hard teams; portugal, italy, spain. im sure korea would fix it so that they had to play the toughest teams. use your freaking head and stop crying

this is a great wc! i think big shocks are what this competitions all about! and south korea have absolutely deserved to be where they are, they're a class outfit. spain shouldnt have even been in the 1/4 finals, they got lucky against ireland, and dont say ireland were lucky just coz raul has no positional sense, every offside desision bar 1 was bang on.

If Korea going to beat Germany & than Brazil (especially if refs not counting goals against Korea), i'll say it was fixed!!!

all you haters have some haterade and thanks for making us the center of your world.

It's called home advantage, the home team is bound to get slightly biased refereing decisions, it happens all the time, it shouldn't happen but it does. I think it's good that the host nation has got this far it gives the competition a great atmosphere. Anyway, Korea beat Spain & Italy cos they played better & created more openings, theres no complications involved.

Naturally yes ... you have not to be Sherlock Holmes to understand it ... in ANY single game Korea played somethin happened ...

1) vs Portugal: Korea played 11 vs 9
2) vs Italy: never seen an unfairer referee and linesmen (doubt penalty after 3 minutes, Totti sent off, and a goddam good golden goal by Tommasi disallowed in the extra time)
3) vs Spain: 2 goddam good goals disallowed (one in the extra time)

These are only the biggest mistakes ('cause MANY more minor have been committed during those games ...)

Blatter is a thief in fact he's been sued and waiting for the process and he (as fifa head) has choosen to allow unexperienced and lame referees and linesmen to be in the wc (so as to be able to control ' em) and to have votes from minor countries to be reelected.

Now, if you think these are just coincidences, think about 5 good goals disallowed to Italy in 3 matches and everything else happened in this wc and realize you're a bit ingenous ...

Imo this wc is the worst ever made and won't help to sponsor football worldwide, eventually the contrary.

You all need to shut it Most of the calls were accurate some were fucked up. But Korea got fucked a few times too. You all need to calm down.Korea is working there ass off. They deserve the success. Btw Im not Korean at all.

Poor officiating is the reason. Thinking that FIFA could rig the World Cup is ridiculous. Yeah a lot of games were won by teams who really shouldn't have (no need to mention who) but that's the nature of football - there's no instant replay and the outcome of the game is completely really in the hands of the first referee and the two linesman.

If anything, maybe some of the refs are biased but to believe in a conspiracy is really paranoid. Get real.
