Sarah Palin is Insane

What the hell? Is there a scandal I haven't heard about yet, or is she really resigning because she feels like a "victim of the liberal media"?

It seems to me that she's tired of crying about what people say about her in blog comments... but don't worry, she still has aspirations to be President in 2012!

And dear lord, that was the most awkward press conference since Mark Sanford went crying in Argentina....

She's a quitter & an idiot.

Probably sees the opportunity to get the nomination since that governor that boinked an Argentinian was probably gonna get it.

Alaska must be thrilled.

Being in any body of government is probably difficult, especially if you don't know what the job entails.

Posted by winston on Jul-03-2009 21:57:

please keep sarah palin away from the red button.

What can we all learn from a mentally handicapped infant?

No scandal, and you won't see her run in 2012.... she's just had enough I guess. Although I don't blame her for wanting to be out of the public eye after the shit-storm of hate (deserved or not) her family has endured this past year, going out the way she just did is the end of her career. You don't lead by quitting, and she just showed she's not a fighter after all.

The hardcore republicans are - but she has lost a lot of her support in the recent months. I for one am enthused.

Im so glad she didnt make it in office. The bullshit fingerpointing she has done just to keep her name in the paper is crazy.

Well aside from the fact that I need a translator, did that not seem a completely unbalanced presser to you?

Shorter Palin: Real Winners Quit

Perhaps the best part of Palin's announcement today:

Life is too short to compromise time and resources... it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: "Sit down and shut up", but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out.

Quitters stick to it. Winners quit.

it seemed rushed and was obviously impromptu, but insane?

we're talking semantics here, but the vocabulary involved in describing this woman for the last 10 months has been brutal, ugly, pointless and dishonest...but par for the left's dialogue.

Very true. The Left has hit an even rockier bottom... the Huffington Post already posted an article titled: "Palin Will Run in '12 on More Retardation Platform"

Arianna Huffington just took it down but it's too late... it's been captured. The party of tolerance and compassion strikes again. Link to the article below.

Not unlike pretty much everything that came out of her mouth in 2008?

examples?

Color me skeptical.

I try to make it a rule never to underestimate the stupidity of the average person, much less the substantially below average person like Sarah Palin, yet even so I find it difficult to imagine that she actually thinks pulling such a stunt will reduce the amount of media attention directed at her and her family.

I fully expect the attention whoring to continue...
