it's happening, yo. what's of real interest here for edm fans is the perry's tent, which is going to be much bigger than last year with better-known djs.

some highlights include:

the bloody beetroots
a-trak
simian mobile disco
crookers
kid cudi
kaskade
hercules and love affair
diplo
bassnectar
the glitch mob
boys noize
mstrkrft
dead mow five

and if you're up on friday night, there's going to be a sick afterparty at congress theatre with smd, kid cudi, crookers, rye rye, the beetroots, and major lazer. will probably be the event of the year etc.

so, who's going? who's excited? i personally am looking forward to of montreal, vampire weekend, ben folds, the killers, and a few others

I like the cheaper option of the friday afterparty vs $200 for the whole weekend which just doesn't work considering I don't live down there.

Really looking forward to Depeche Mode, Of Montreal, Vampire Weekend, Ra Ra Riot, Fleet Foxes, Friendly Fires, Silversun Pickups

The DJ lineup does not interest me much besides Hercules & Love Affair. Sounds like a bunch of "electro" house...I do enjoy Boys Noize tho.

treat yourself with some 'unfamiliar' acts and you will be surprised how much fun that can be =)

Oh I'm sure SMD, Crookers, Kid Cudi, etc could all rock a party with the best of them. But for the insane amount of money I spent on these tickets, I'd much rather check out as many bands as possible rather than DJs who don't exactly play my type of house music anyways.
