can you be on welfare and have a good tv + car

i really dont want to work for a living. and i have no extraordinary talents that would grant me some kind of obscene amounts of money in exchange for my services.

i go through this every sunday night, around this time,

i really just want to dick around for the rest of my life, and still have all the benefits of a working class citizen.

is there a way?

It's not a job if you take the drugs as well as sell them.

Don't you fucking lie to me BTG. You'll take the fucking drugs, and you'll fucking like them.

Or...

Monday morning! Off to work!

Im the same as you BTG (except I finished highschool, college & uni). I have absolutely no desire to work, other than in the fantasy vocations- game designer, professional gamer, sleep study patient.

Ive got bad news for you. youll either be poor all your life or youll have to suck it up and join the rest of us in the tragedy that is employment. I enter lotto too on a regular basis. Still stuck here.

you wouldn't need to "get up" to go to work anymore!

that's another avenue BTG. medical test subject. i hear the pay is pretty awesome. you just need to take the treatments they're testing and then let them know if your balls fall off.

haha, fuck you abo!!

i cannot help it if i dont want to work. ive had various jobs over the last 16 years and ive hated every one of them. what would you have me do? there just aren't (realistic) jobs that im interested in. ive sucked that fact up and trying to make my mark elsewhere. as far as im concerned that's pretty fucking mature (by my horribly low standards )

If you want to be a game designer, go and chase that rather than being a societal hemorrhoid.

p.s also, I hope you see the irony in calling me an abo and then following it up with 'I can't help if I don't want to work.'

i'd prefer to retire comfortably than chase pipe-dreams that have absolutely no chance of coming to fruition.

Imagine that you saved and invested 10% of your income over that 16 year time frame. You could have been retired by now!

nobody makes money from saving!

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Aug-10-2009 06:18:

Man that's all we ever do is talk shit.
We need to get fine bitches and fat rides. No, what need to do is put our money in savings bonds. No! what we need to do is put our songs on WJLB.
Man shut the fuck up. All of us never do shit about nuttin' and we're still broke as fuck and living at home with our moms.

Hey gimp, you seem puzzled everytime someone makes fun of your little investment hobby.

In the Melbourne paper we have a stockmarket competition. Currently coming first is an astrologer, second a 'random' selection by the computer. The fucking stockbrocker is coming last. That's why everyone laughs at you; 99% of stockbrokers and financial advisors have no more idea about the market than anyone else.

You've been here over 8 years with all your IDs and not once have you become a hero yet

I once saw this experiment on TV where they compared analysts against monkeys. The moneys "selected" stocks to buy or sell by picking or rejecting bananas. The brokers won, but they produced less than 1% more profit than the monkey. As said in the report, they failed to prove a significant difference in knowledge or insight in comparison to their adversaries.

I realised that my original post made it sound like there were only three competitors. There are actually six. The stockbroker is getting beaten by some two-bit university student too.

In a similar vein, they have had monkeys paint canvasses and then done blind tests with art experts who have proclaimed them 'absolute genius!' and denigrated the pieces by human artists.
