Dog Running Usain Bolt breaks 100m record: 9.58 seconds

seriously, this bloke is a freak.. Tyson Gay runs a 9.71 and comes second - poor bastard

That shit was insane!

once again he seemed to be slowing down too. If he goes full pelt, perhaps by london in 2012, I can see him breaking 9.2 and maybe even 9 seconds. He just seems to be forever improving

Lyle Lanley: Now, I'm here to answer any questions you children may have about the monorail.
Kid: Can it outrun the flash?
Lyle Lanley: You bet.
Kid: Can superman outrun the flash?
Lyle Lanley: Eh, sure, why not.

the thing is ... if bolt is not competing in the 200 or 400 races on the same day, or ran the 200 and 400 before running the 100, he'll go full speed in this 100 race. Bolt is just a freak of nature. i would be very heavily disappointed if his records are found to be "tainted" if he is investigated.

usain bolt is the best thing that has happened to Jamaican sports ever since the Jamaican bobsled team, which were later featured in the movie "Cool Runnings".

didn't know they were a real bobsled team until now.

the best was at the Man United awards ceremony, and they were talking about how he was giving Ronaldo tips on running technique.

I think it was Alex F who said "Well, atleast he can beat you with a ball"

to which Usain replied, in a very serious tone:

"I don't tink so. "

It's all the chicken nuggets he eats, that's his secret.

But yeah, that was fucking quick.

So Asafa Powell is worth nothing?

I was at a function last year where Powell spoke, he is such a great bloke.

Yes, it was based on a true story. Very loosely though.

ah yes. that other sprinter.

kidding about forgetting him. I have heard good stories about Powell. Just seems Bolt has taken all of Powell's sprinter status as of late.

In a couple of centuries, sprinters all around the world will be running back in time: now that will be awesome!

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on Aug-17-2009 04:28:

what the hell.. we ran slower in the 80s

fucking 80s

Posted by Palladium on Aug-17-2009 04:32:

past racers were so hardcore, they beat the record by an 0.1 of a second, not like last years by 0.01 of a second.

That is until today from 9.69 to 9.58
