NCAA football- are you a fan, who's your team
Since my university does not field an NCAA division I football team, I root for the texas longhorns.

looking forward to NCAA saturdays and NFL sundays starting up shortly!
My wife and I are USC Alumni, love going to all the games. Football is the best sport ever. Texas should be real good (bigperf). Oklahoma is 1-3 in BCS games, they are always overated. Florida plays in the SEC so they could be upset. SC should have another good year, it's exciting. It's alomst like 5 or 6 years ago with Leinart or Cassel, Corp or Barkley? Losing Mark to the J E T S was a blow but, the entire line is back and weapons everywhere. Enjoy the season all!
Life-long Miami Hurricanes fan (as I'm originally from Florida).
Can't believe Larry Coker (former coach) destroyed that program after being handed the best college football team ever (2000-2001 Canes) and systematically destroying it by not knowing how to recruit. The previous coach, Butch Davis, left for the Cleveland Browns (and is now head coach at UNC and they are gonna be a BIG program in the next year or two, IMO), was one of the best recruiters
Luckily, we got Randy Shannon now (a big student of Jimmy Johnson's and Butch Davis' recruiting and other tactics...just has to grow when it comes to making head coach decision during gametimestill) and have brought in who is one of the best offensive minds in football to run the pro-set like the Canes of ole (USC runs a pro-set still, too...few schools still do!)...super-young team (mainly sophomores) that I think will have a couple upsets this year and will make the country take notice and then in 2010 will be back to a Top 5 - Top 10 team.
Cane's have the players they need, and next year might have the best RB core (two true freshmen alone who would start at a true-freshman just on about any other college footballt eam) and WR core (8 people who could start and if they step up could be big time recivers) in college football. Right now they just need to grow and get experience.
I like college football more than any other sport. Fans are crazier. Games are more wide-open. Players play harder overall, IMO, etc. And I follow the Canes pretty closely!
Schools I truly hate are....Florida, Notre Dame, Tennessee, LSU....and....USC. USC, how does it feel to be marked as the "New Miami" of college football...let's just hope all is fair and USC actually gets punishied for it's lack of institutional control!

2 teams, USC i have always liked.....RBU, and of course the home team, Wisconsin Badgers, except they suck now
UCLA...which has been tough for a while now. Plus, I'm gonna be an ASU alum, and I'm only accociated to UCLA by family. What am I to do? Love college football no matter what tho, although I'm an NFL first guy.

I was born on the campus of O.S.U. (Ohio State)so I have been a Buckeye fan...pretty much ALL my life.
Others: Pittsburgh and Penn State. (Grew up in Pgh, and went to Football camps at PSU)
Sucks though..I have to root for 2 teams in the Big 10 at the same time.

I have always been a Trojans fan... Fight On! Pete Carroll has done such an amazing job, im totally content w/not having an NFL team!
but the one of the highlights of my College Football game career was when i got invited to visit some friends, who go to Ohio State, the week before Thanksgiving 2005
when i got there my friends asked me if i liked College Football, i said "r u kidding me, i love College FB" somehow, someway they were able to secure 4 tickets to the OSU/Michigan game in Ann Arbor where OSU pulled out the win w/30 secs left
being in an enviroment w/105K fans is something that you never forget, that night you could hear all the OSU fans saying "OH----IO" all up & down "High St" in Columbus where the whole city was going bananas. you thought it was a Gold Medal win in the Olympics 
hmmm.... i wonder if they'll invite me to this year's game vs SC?
