I Need Hip Hop Suggestions
I know this is a trance/electronic site, but im sure there must be a few of you that also listen to hip hop.
i need some help with hip hop right now. I am so sick of listening to commercial garbage and I am looking for some NEW (nothing more than a few years old). Also, any blogs that you frequent that feature NEW GOOD hip hop would be great. I'll post a few artists im liking right now so you have an idea of what im looking for.
- La Coka Nostra
- Z-RO (A.B.N)
- Jadakiss
- Tech N9NE
- Smif N Wessun
- Zion I
- Apathy
- Leak Bros
Can Someone please help me out? I find it so difficult to find any good hip hop

based on your current tastes look up celly cell.
Before Eyedea got all emo.
we were having a discussion about this earlier. basically anything before Tupac died (1996). After that, probably closest is Wu Tang Clan and that's it.
I suggest you burn your hippity slop collection.
Actually, I wouldn't mind having the chorus to "Step into a World" remixed into an ambient electronic sound... that would be sick.

Wu Tang
Oh, and Snow... his shit is dope, yo.
i have almost every Wu Tang, Biggie, Pac, NWA, DR. Dre, Bone Thugs Song. I am looking for newer different stuff, not the old classics. thanks tho!
Ask Lebezniatnikov... he is usually up to snuff on a lot of the new shit. He posted some really good finds a couple months ago that I had never heard of.
lol wu-tang is an acquired taste and as much as i love them (saw them live too), i wouldn't recommend them to someone who isn't familiar with or really into hip hop yet.
Atmosphere!!!!! Fucking love these guys.
yeah atmosphere is great. have at least one album from him. thanks nice suggestion.
CunninLynguists. I've heard "Will Rap For Food", "A Piece of Strange" and "Strange Journey vol 1".
A Piece Of Strange is my fav by far but the other 2 are all sorts of quality too.
anyone ever heard of MADLIB?
some pretty good tracks i think
There's a reason I posted a video with Slug
