Facts about the Planetlove festival and Paul Van Dyk...
You won..t believe what you will read now.

I..m just back in my hotelroom (05.09.2009, 10:30 PM), but actually I should be on stage at the Planet Love Festival in Belfast now.
The reality is, that the organizers just told me and my manager one our ago at the festival, that Paul van Dyk told them, that when I play (my contracted playtime was 10-12 PM) my set right before his set 12-2 AM, he will not play! So the organizers decided to throw me out of the lineup!

I just want to let you know, how people in this scene and business works and of course this will have consequences to all concerned parties!

I..m so sorry for all the fans out there, who wasn't able to see me.

krass, irgendwie nur schwer vorstellbar. erstens haben atb und pvd schon zusammen auf events gespielt, keine ahnung ob das jetzt hintereinander war. zweitens wei� man das ja als pvd bzw. booking-agentur vorher, wer noch so auf dem event spielt bzw. direkt vor einem und kann da schon handeln, wenn man denn so'n schei� durchsetzen will. drittens, falls es stimmen sollte, ist es nicht nur unprofessionell von den veranstaltern, dass sie sich darauf eingelassen haben (schon mal was von vertrag einhalten geh�rt, herr van dyk?!), sondern noch mehr dass sie das atb in der form kommuniziert haben. an deren stelle h�tte ich paul van dyk rausgeschmissen, auf dem event ne offizielle ansage gemacht, warum der dyk van paul net spielt, und ne medienlawine mit der info ins rollen gebracht, dass dem paule h�ren und sehen vergeht! bin gespannt was da noch an infos kommt, denn so wie es ausschaut geht atb in die offensive und wenn ich da an die auseinandersetzung vor etlichen jahren zwischen atb und pvd denke, ist dieser vorfall, wenn er denn stimmen sollte, ja noch mal ein paar nummern h�rter, und wird garantiert kreise ziehen, und paule wird sicherlich net drumrumkommen darauf zu reagieren.

ps: hat atb manchmal was neues am start, was promotet werden will?!

Was f�r ein Diva! Dachte jetzt nicht, das sich selbst Paul zu so einem Kindergartengetue hinreissen l�sst. Naja, er hat halt so viel Bekanntheit, da kann er sich so was leisten

vielleicht war das auch nur 'ne ausrede der organisatoren, dass sie atb auf einmal nichtmehr im lineup haben wollten!?!
die hauptschuld liegt aber vorerst bei den veranstaltern, und nicht beim paul, egal was er gesagt haben soll...

Ja, ich wei� was Du meinst... die Hauptschuld am Dritten Reich und seinen Folgen liegt ja auch bei dem Teil der Deutschen, die Adolf & Co. gefolgt sind und nicht beim ihm selbst, aber das macht Adolf & Co. noch lange nicht zu besseren Menschen!

Und wenn dem so sein sollte, dass die Veranstalter das als Ausrede f�r das von Dir beschriebene Szenario benutzt haben sollten, was aus meiner Sicht totaler Bl�dsinn ist, dann d�rfte ziemlich schnell eine Reaktion von Vandit/Paul kommen.
Wenn die gar nix dazu sagen, kommt das in meinen Augen einer Best�tigung des Vorfalls gleich.

PVD vs. ATB - Round 2... Fight!

Ich glaub da steckt mehr hinter als das von ATB zitierte... kann mir solche Unprofessionalit�t nicht vorstellen. Egal von wem. Gut, Totmau5 vielleicht, war da nich mal was?

Wer ist nun die DIVA?

Ein Blick ins Planet Love Forum gen�gt, um das frische Statement einer der Mitorganisatoren zu finden. Tja wer ist nun die Diva Mr. ATB? Hier einmal rauskopiert:



ATB refuses to play Planetlove

It is with regret that I have to pen one of the worst unprofessional incidents we have encountered in almost 25 years of booking artists.

At 7pm on Saturday evening we respectfully asked ATB to help us with the smooth running of the show by playing his set at the festival from approximately 9pm to 11pm instead of his requested time of 10pm to 12midnight and he point blankly refused.

Instead he arrived at the site and chose to verbally abuse and threaten Judith, so much so that he had to be asked to calm down by his manager and security called as Judith feared that things would escalate further.

The facts are very simple. ATB chose not to play at all to the same crowd, in the same arena for the same two hour set rather than play one hour earlier!

I ask any rational person to try and relate to this.

He was paid in full, in advance, as where his flights and transport. He was treated with courtesy and respect but rather than play one hour earlier than he wanted to he hurled abuse, issued threats, wouldn�t play the new time and proceeded to blame PVD and was so convinced from the outset that it was PVD's doing that he even tried to coerce Judith into writing down that it was PVD�s fault. Paul Van Dyk did not even arrive at the venue until 11:45pm.

Never before has an artist refused to help with the smooth running of our shows and try and dictate what they should do. At the end of the day this show was about all artists and the people who went to enjoy them, not about one individual.

My thanks to the other artists, in particular Judge Jules, who did adapt to the time changes which facilitated the production crews the time to change over the defective generator during his set which was causing the problem in the first place. It is my belief that because of Jules help in the set time before 12 midnight that the change over was done in such a professional manner that I believe the crowd were not even aware that there was a problem. So simple when people work together.

Warum, wollte damit nur den Sachverhalt verdeutlichen bzw. vereinfachen, und da wir uns mit unserer eigenen Geschichte nun mal am besten auskennen und jeder davn wei�, habe ich zugegebener Ma�en ein provokantes Beispiel gew�hlt. Aber deswegen ist es noch lange nicht schlecht...

Wenn ich was schlecht finde, dann die Kommentare, dass sich ATB im Internet ausheult - voll asso & unqualifiziert, solche Aussagen. Denn wenn er Recht hat, dann ist der Weg �ber die Medien der einzige, den er gehen kann und eigentlich auch mu�, schon alleine um seinen Fans, die da waren, zu erkl�ren, warum er nicht gespielt hat.

Den Beitrag im Forum des Fesitvals habe ich auch gerade gelesen. Jetzt steht Aussage gegen Aussage, und wenn das Statement vom Festival stimmt, dann MUSS (!) jetzt auch ein offizielles Statement von Vandit/Paul her, denn das w�re in dem Fall ja krasse Verleumdung, und die w�rden gut daran tun, ihre Anw�lte einzuschalten.
Egal, wer nun am Ende Recht hat von beiden Seiten, f�r die andere Seite w�re es auf jeden Fall ein Skandal, wobei ATB als L�gner noch ne krassere Nummer w�re, wie gesagt w�rde das ja den Tatbestand der Verleumdung erf�llen...

PS: Es gab glaube ich nur einen der angeblich nen plan von der welt sein eigen nennen konnte, und der wurde ans kreuz genagelt. von daher bin ich mindestens genauso unwissend wie du, lessi. ;-)


PPS: Dass was das Festival ATB vorwirft ist ja auch ne krasse Sache, und das alles nur wg. einer Stunde eher spielen... vielleicht liegt die Wahrheit auch irgendwo dazwischen.

Ist doch wurscht, hauptsache Schlammschlacht und hier ist mal wieder �ktschn

Kann sein dass Du mit der Suchfunktion dazu hier noch was findest... das ATB-Forum aus der Zeit gibt es ja schon lange nicht mehr, und somit auch keine Beweise von der Seite. War glaube ich so 2003/2004 rum - wei� schon gar nicht mehr, worum es da genau ging... andere haben bestimmt ein besseres Ged�chtnis.

Aber das hier hat ne ganz andere Qualit�t, insbesondere wenn ATB l�gt.

mir f�llt nur eines dazu ein: offenbar hat sich da wer in der kindheit mit seiner rassel nicht gen�gend ausgetobt

das sowas �berhaupt platz f�r diskussionen findet sowas geh�rt meiner meinung nach sofort durch admins wieder gel�scht !

Frei Schnauze: Veranstalter fragt, ob Herr Tanneberger eine Stunde fr�her spielen kann als geplannt (9-11 statt 10-12). ATB mag nicht, gibt Paule die Schuld und weint jetzt im Internet rum

Hi @ all,

as I see in some forums the organizers now try to tell the people that I refused the gig. Thats very funny and I..m very happy to have two witnesses that the organizers told me that I..m not allowed to play in front of Paul van Dyk.
They tried to give me a settime from 8:30 till 10 because they supposedly had trouble with some late DJ..s! But I was not able to play at this time because I just arrived in the hotel!

As we asked at 9:30 for a transportation to the Venue a guy from the organization told us, we don..t have to go to the venue because my show is cancelled. The reason: I did not took the playtime 8:30 - 10! This was a shock!

Anyway, we decided to go to the venue and talk with the organizers personally.

I TOLD THE ORGANIZERS, THAT EVEN IF THERE HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE SET TIMES I..M OPEN TO PLAY A SHORTER SET FROM 11-12! THATS ONE HOUR LESS! BUT THEY TOLD ME, THAT THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE ME THIS SET TIME; BECAUSE OF PAUL WOULD CANCEL HIS SHOW THEN!

But one thing in the organizers statement is right! I was not in a very good mood... and I think everybody can understand that.

Of course the organizers never would tell the truth about having no balls to tell Paul van Dyk that they are the organizers of this event... not Paul van Dyk.

Since 10 years I have the same question! What is Paul van Dyk..s problem with my person?

Trotz des ganzen Theaters hier, die Planet Love war genial


Pauls Set was amazing (seit wann hat er denn 3 Lapis am Start?, hab ihn schon lange nicht mehr live gesehen) und was hat er da f�r einen geilen Remix von "Out of the blue" gespielt, leider nicht aufgenommen mit cam.
