MARCUS SCHOSSOW

Schossow is a very rare individual. He shines at whatever he throws his hand to, and whether thats performing to thousands or producing for the masses hes on a mission to reinvent dance music, and hes off to a flying start!

This reinvention started with his smash 2007 track Mr White, whereby fusing futuristic techno, with filthy house and a subtle smattering of trance; his sound automatically became appealing to a whole host of DJs and music fans alike. Marcus is part of a hot, new, elite set of young DJs and producers with dance floors around the world clamoring for his infectious presence and prodigious mixing.

Progresia and Tone Diary, his own projects, are establishing the Schossow Sound while his work with fellow producer Thomas Sagstad has seen Tiesto, Axwell and Steve Lawler snapping up tracks like Hypnotizer and Crepusculo. World-renowned Dutch outfit Spinnin have given Schossow their full backing, making him their youngest signing to date. At only 22, Schossow is a serious force to be reckoned with. Further support comes from the A list including Pete Tong, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angelo and Sander van Doorn, underlining Marcus increasing influence in the world of dance.

And its not just his ability as a producer that screams watch this person. Schossow is in demand around the world! America, Europe, the Far East and beyond are all calling out for gaps in his diary. In the short time Marcus has been around, hes already clocked up some of the biggest gigs in the calendar: Dance Valley, Godskitchen , Sunrise Festival, Escape Into the Park, Zurichs Street Parade and the Colours Festival are just some!

With Tone Diary, Marcus acclaimed radio show; the sound of Schossow travels even further. Setting the airwaves ablaze, he reaches those not lucky enough to have caught him live yet and reminds those who have of why theyll have to check him out again!

Yet with all this, its so easy to forget that Marcus Schossow is just 22 years old. A young man who is only just starting out at what looks set to be a very prosperous musical career. More beckons as 2008 propels past the half way mark and for Marcus Schossow this is only just the beginning

JONAS STEUR

Born in 1982 in Belgium. Born for the night...

Jonas Steur has become a familiar name in the trance scene the last few years. With several big hits like Tales from the south, Castamara , Second turn and Fall to pieces , just to name a few , and remixes for all the major labels in the trance scene, he did his part for the melodic yet progressive minded side of trance. He's allergic to supersaws and minute long snare rolls and doesn't shy away from playing techno and house in his sets nowadays.

"Trance is able to get rid of it's lousy image if the diversification which is noticable right now keeps going on. With techno , trance and house growing closer to each other again it looks like the future will bring a time where the thinking in boxes which destroys the edm scene nowadays finally stops. Trance can be anything from tribal beats to minimal bleeps, melodic bliss and deep dark moody grooves" according to Jonas.

Playing all arround Europe Jonas keeps on sharpening his dj skills and entertains the crowds with diverse sets featuring trance in the broadest sense of the word. 2006 especially was a breaktrough year with Jonas playing on several very high profile events like asot 250, tomorrowland and lots of both huge and intimate gigs all over the continent. Entering at a 130th place in the controversial dj mag list at the end of 2006 proved that the buzz was and still is growing.

2007 is the year where Jonas took the next step: His first artist album 'Born for the night' was released and Jonas showed that he is more than just the 'melody man' delivering a very versatile 2cd package. Both singles took from the album made an impact, 'Level up' on the dancefloors and 'Fall to pieces' with Jennifer Rene just about anywhere the trance scene reaches.

In 2008 Jonas continues searching for the perfect balance between floor impact and melodic elements resulting in a steady stream of new singles , for example ' The night is young' with Leon Bolier , 'Call it whatever you fancy' and planned for september : 'Cold winds' featuring Julie Thompson.

This is also the year where he finally starts his own monthly show : 'breakout', together with his younger brother Simon Steur .

No slowing down, Jonas feels this is still the beginning...

Super Pumped for this event! Pumping up the old classic Reebok shoes

out of retirement for this show!

Can't wait for Schossow to droo "Chase the Rabbit." Been anticipating

the longest time to hear that one live! Also, would like to hear

"Silent waves" from Jonas Steur. But most definitely wouldn't mind

hearing the combination of both from Jonas Steur "Level up" (Schossow

Remix).

By the way, is there a presale tickets for this event? And how much?

Very Very sad !!! Why does Marcus have such a little time slot?????

Posted by FunKenLouis on Oct-07-2009 22:33:

..

Posted by FunKenLouis on Oct-07-2009 22:33:

Usually in Europe, headliners play 1h... 1h30 max

2h makes it more intense and he is playings peak peak peak time

So he's gonna give it all out in 2 hours and he might play a longer set if the crowd is into it

We always give the headliner the choice to play 30 minutes extra
