Falony - Burundanga [low-fi, hiphop, downtempo, funk, rock, fluffy hugs]

This is just a bunch of sounds I thought were neat. I drew from oldies that my mom used to play, some rap I used to listen to, and an amalgamate of other things, including Nick at Nite from back in the 90's \o/

There's some questionable transitions and inconsistencies in flow. Either way, this mix was tons of fun to make, and it's far and away from the dreary stuff that I put out (though come to think of it my hiphop mixes are pretty upbeat).

This mix isn't all that hiphoppy. It's sprinkled in there. You'd be better off listening to my actual hiphop mixes spamspam (though you may have already).

And Vandit is what dwells within me.

Scouring the pits of my despair for raptors bump.

I'm actually really liking the weird/somewhat cheesiness of this mix. APPRECIATE IT.

Posted by ziptnf on Sep-28-2009 22:44:

Why are two of your sets on the front page?

Haha, I listened to the first 15 minutes about a week ago, but had to cut it short. I will do my best to listen to the rest and post decent feedback.

Haha. Wait until you get into the 80's mega-anthem with the peacemaker spoken-word vocals.

Bump for this... this is a fucking sweet mix. About halfway through on my second listen. Honestly, did not expect to like this as much as a did. What a cool and unique little 67 minutes. Some neat and creative transition techniques used in here.

Keeping this around for a while.

looks interesting, will check it out.

I knew some of the tunes were cheese when I played them, like that Red Rum track, and the Peacemaker track, but they were amusing and sorta went with the flow imo.

Everyone makes srs mixes because mixes are srs business. Thanks for checking it out, meng, I've definitely tried to work on my downtempo mixing since my other downtempo mix.
