Paul van Dyk ft. Johnny McDaid - HOME

Paul van Dyk ft. Johnny McDaid - HOME

As a renowned musician and world famous DJ and producer, Paul van Dyk needs little introduction. From his 15 years of international success to his massive legion of fans, this dance music legend has seen and done it all. But despite being voted as the "#1 DJ in the World" for two years running, receiving Grammy nods and countless other prestigious awards and honors, the man himself will tell you, in the end, the music says it all. Now releasing VOLUME, a collection of his greatest works to date, Paul van Dyk shows listeners precisely what he is made of.

His latest single-release Home, is yet another collaboration with Johnny McDaid, former singer of the British cult band VEGA4, and the man behind the massive PvD release: Time of Our Lives. Bringing the very best from these two amazing artists, Home electrifies hardcore fans, while keeping a finger on the emotional pulse of music lovers the world over. A mixture of classic Paul van Dyk energy and Johnny's iconic lyrical style, this track perfectly embodies the fusion of electronic and rock sensibilities, blending emotive vocals with hard hitting beats for a track that simply can't be topped.

HOME review

HOME is classic PVD!!!!!!
When he played it at Global Gathering it just sounded immense - everyone went crazy for it!
Johnny McDaid's voice sounds excellent as it did on Time of Our Lives.
Another brilliant PVD single!!!

Home sounded banging when I heard it at Matter in London back in May!

just wanted to say that this summer i had opportunity to see and listen PvD live for the first time in my life when he played on Zrce beach here in Croatia..
and when he played "Home".. it was a m a z i n g.. seeing him singin' with the crowd..it was great.. "Home" is one of few songs which is giving me the chills..just can't stop listening to it..
and can't wait to see him again for my birthday when he plays in Budapest..I think it will be the best b-day ever..

King home

... my home, is where you are...
Thank you so much for that hometown anthem.
Cant wait to hear it live again....

nice track

the crowd goes crazy with the 'pvd club mix' and 'cosmic gate remix'.

Posted by weymouth on Oct-06-2009 15:36:

uhm...all these responses seem fake.

Anyway, bad track. Sounds like a very bad country western song. I'm even a PvD fan, just waiting for him to go back to his sound that made him popular around 99-03.

Can you Foucking tell me what you were thinking at the Vandit HQ when deciding on the 100th vandit rec release ? Seriously, i really want to know.

Thumbs up

I love this release either!

The tracks are melancholic and dance-making at the same time probably because of mixture of nice vocals and cool beats. Club and Cosmic Gate versions rock! And Kaskade remix i found interesting too.

By the way, your gig at Z-17 was one of the most wonderful trips in my life!

Dixi.

Isn't this kind of spam grounds for thread-locking? It pollutes the board with opportunists looking for a handout.

Thumbs up

hi,

the new single from paul and johnny is once again a real samsher. espacially the paul van dyk mix is my absolute favorite: cool trancy clubsound with laid back vocals. When this track is played after some harder and minimalistic tracks, the crowd will get crazy;-)

bye bye and best regards,
trancytrance

~My home, is where you are... What more needs to be said?
Paul van Dyk's music will take you home!

The Club Mix and the Cosmic Gate Remix are taking me into another world, bringing me completely into the present moment. Becoming one with the music... Being reborn uplifted and inspired! Words can't really describe the essential... When you allow yourself to let go, you'll understand!

With appreciation,
Deva
