Unbelievable!!!!!!!
Last night I was watching the movie Species, for the third time, and was falling asleep when suddenly I hear this incredible phrase coming out from one of the principal characters mouth, she said: Intelligent life beyond this planet. I was like
. I couldnt believe my ears, I was totally shocked. I immediately identified the phrase, as Yahel used it on his all time classic Voyage, and not just the phrase, but he cut it directly from the film and placed it on Voyage. Is incredible having heard Voyage 10000 times and finally seeing the woman saying it, oh my god what a feeling.
And then, just after that, starts talking this man, another principal character and says this speech:
There are 2 distinct communications. The first message turn out to be a superior catalyst from methane, we now have the potential to produce an infinite amount of energy from this clean burning fuel; this convinced us we were dealing with a friendly intelligence. The second message turned out to be a new sequence of DNA with a rather friendly instructions on how to combine it with our statistic technical data on the whole operation given feedback on it by Dr Baker. Basically, the new combined DNA sequence, was injected into one hundred human ovule.
At that point I was feeling something like
. Finally after all this time you can see how Yahel was inspired in this great movie (oh yes, if you havent see it, youre missing something) to make several of his most impressive tracks.
Any of you knows of a similar case?
Yeah, when I found out that this melody in DJ Noise - Sibel (Dave 202 & Phil Green Remix) is actually the soundtrack of Meet Joe Black
I love that movie! Natasha Henstridge is SO hot!
I was listening to a rocky soundtrack, and then I heard that's where the melody for DJ Jose vs G-Spott - House of justice was taken from
in the Matrix, trinity goes to meet neo at that nightclub and he's says something to her, and she turns around and says 'definately' and that was sampled and used in Yoda Inc - 'definately'

Yahel - Only Way
samples the Matrix when those dudes are talking to Neo outside his room in the beginning.
In fact, lots of trance songs use Matrix samples, dunno why.
maybe because matrix lines are the best?
yups another matrix one "BK - Tragic"
it's that black dude saying "you ever had a dream that was so real that you didn't know whether it was real or not" or something
Mario Lopez - Free Your Mind
theres the morpheus & neo speech when they first meet in the matrix
bbc trax-the truth
taken from unbreakable with bruce willis and samuel l jackson
class love that tune!!!one major bassline
Heh kool, I experienced the same thing while watching some old movie on tv a long time ago. The lyrics from CJ Boland - The Prophet came from this movie, I am sure someone knows what it is here, but I found it kool.

Holy crap enought Matrix samples from songs lol
That's cool, I was just wondering the other day where that sample from "Yahel - DNA" was from, and now I know.
Also been wondering where the sample came from on "Rising Star - Startheme". Anyone know?
isn't the line " I know exactly what you mean " in Tatabox Inhibitors - Freet (Trisko Remix) also from the matrix ?
in the movie "the professional" a guy says "i love these calm little moments before the storm" right before he downs some acid or somethin...im pretty sure RMB used that sample in a song...i just cant remember which one..or if it was even RMB...whatever
I have a question, have you heard the remix of Open your Mind with the speech about the SETI sending out a message with basic information about human DNA, the structure of the solar system blah blah blah? I always thought that That song and DNA were supposed to go together, because if you just listened to the guy talking, its the same voice, and the message in DNA picks up right off where the one in Open Your Mind leaves off. So was that clip in there as well?
i heard my name
hehe this is pretty funny fact i reckon
i e-mailed him a little while ago about where he got his sample for Last Man in the Universe (VERY underrated track imo!)and he sent me one back saying he did the track so long ago he cant remember!
maybe he wasn't THAT inspired
great samples though!
