The rest of the world appreciates your effort to convert your exotic temperature measurement scale into something we can all understand.

Fuck off, cold is awesome.

How dare you!

For the record, I do not welcome Brazil's weather.

Neither do I... it's 12:30 AM and I'm sweating even though it's raining outside

Correct!

It's the most bonkers scale ever. Non-SI units FTL! (Well a sensible conversion of one anyway )

will, you need to come winter camping with me. then you'll know what cold feels like

no, i knew shit like this was going to happen. i'm surprised there aren't references to me having sex with my dog by now. guess Jay hasn't been here yet...

in any case, fuck you all who think it's "cool" that it's below the temperature at which liquid h20 becomes solid.

You know what's the coolest thing about Celsius? That's exactly when temperature becomes negative! You don't have to pick a random number like, let's say, 32, to say the water is freezing. It's just zero!

And, you know what's the hottest thing about Celsius? Once the temperature reaches the three digits mark, the water starts boiling. It's that easy!

yeah but Kelvin is much more accurate. i mean, when it's zero, everything stopps. no negative numbers. makes sense, doesn't it?

was it kelvin? or kalvin? kelvin. yeah that sounds right.

gas bill goes up; electric bill goes down. and in the summer...
electric bill goes up; gas bill goes down.

but it always seems that gas is more expensive

Another great Scottish invention. But really everyone uses C here. Though the UK in terms of SI units is the most bastard country in the world.

Buy kilos of meat, pints of milk/beer, mph, meters and feet, fucking STONE for weight ( is that you might ask? 14lbs = 1 stone).

Cluster fuck, and we drive on the left, unlike everyone else.

If you're a scientist, yeah, it does. But, Kelvin is just the centigrade scaled pushed down a few numbers. Because we see the water boil and freeze far more often than we see matter reach an absolute zero, it's easier for the average person to work with 0's and 100's than with a scale that ranges from 273.15 to 373.15 - regardless of that, they're essentially the same scale.

Fahrenheit, on the other hand...
