Well they're probably scared so more often to being emotionally close to someone.

Which then =hornyness

false. however, girls can rationalize any intense emotion into horniness, given the right situation.

i used to hate scary movies.....a girl i was with turned me onto them and now i'm a fan without a doubt. a girl i was seeing recently was so deathly afraid of scary movies she refused to watch american psycho with me even. that was a shame considering i've used that movie to drunkenly seduce myriad females this past semester...

i watched the shining with this girl im dating, but it was our first movie night in...shes into horror flicks, but i dont recommend them to get them horny. Well not the shining at least.

I have a general theory about horror movies, that I'm welcome to have shot down. It basically runs that the more physically vulnerable a person feels, the more frightened they are by horror movies. Children find horror films the scariest, followed by women. Grown men are probably the least affected, and the harder and tougher the guy, the less likely he is to be scared.

Not exactly intellectual, but I think it mostly holds up.

This subject has been the cause of so many fucking arguments between my boyfriend and I.

I *will* watch movies I don't necessarily want to watch, as long as they are not horror movies. This is a problem because my man loves horror movies and we can never watch them together. This, in turn, makes him feel like I always have to get my way when it comes to movies, and it pisses him off sometimes. Meanwhile, I just can't fucking watch them because I won't be able to sleep after. I know this. Tried, tested and true.

It's not like "OMG I think that flesh-eating plant in Mexico actually exists, and if I fall asleep it will come out of my closet and eat me alive"

It's more that my sensory perceptions are MUCHO affected by what I see on the screen (gory shit and startling shit especially) and then my brain keeps replaying them and it won't shut off. THAT's why I can't sleep afterwards. This makes me tired the next day and it's just not fucking pleasant.

I actually DO enjoy the process of watching a horror movie and being scared. It's the trying to fall asleep after that fucking sucks and makes me not watch them.

Fat girls go to the movies by themselves all the time

omg I remember I went on a blind date with this Polish dude like 4 years ago - we went out for dinner and then to the movies and he really wanted to see Hostel.

I was much less of a domineering bitch back then so I submitted to his wish to see this fucking disturbing movie even though I REALLY didn't want to.

We drove in his car to get coffee somewhere after and the whole time, I was thinking "omg i don't even know this guy. what if he is going to kill me... what if he takes me into the bushes and cuts my cheek off and then glues it to my eyelid" lol and random shit like that

horror movies are FUCKED and they fill your brain with fucked up shit

That movie wa soooo fuckin disturbing, when the guys got his legs cut and tried standing, I had to walk out of the house and then punch someone in the face, kinda creepy to go see on a first date, thats why I always bring guns with me on dates, just in case the bitch starts to act up

Our movie collection at home is 80% horror films of all kinds. Love 'em.

Most recent one I watched was Drag Me to Hell. So fucking good. I love Sam Raimi's style.

My friend's ex gf hated scary movies. We were over at a buddy's place one night flipping channels and stopped on some horror flick. I noticed her nuzzle into him and whisper something. Then a minute later my buddy spoke up and asked to change the channel cause he wasn't into that movie.

Stupid fucking meek bitch. Die die die.
