Unhappy Brittany Murphy dies of a heart attack

what a sad week wow..

quote:
Movie star Brittany Murphy is dead of a heart attack at 32.

She went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, the Website TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department got a call from the home of Murphy's husband Simon Monjack about 8 a.m., fire officials told TMZ.

She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival

Murphy starred in "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

The starlet became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in "Clueless," who went from awkward wall flower to snotty hottie.

A few years ago, she released the single "Faster Kill Pussycat," which became a dance club hit.

Her last big movie was "Sin City" in 2005.

Brittany Murphy Has Never Seen Cocaine

quote:
"I have never tried it in my entire life," the "8 Mile" actress insists. "I've never even seen it. ... I am also way too high-strung. I can't even take a Sudafed. Can you imagine? My God. I think my heart would explode.

Not to be a hater on the situation but I don't get why everyone freaks about celebrities so much.

Did you care/know about what Brittany Murphy has been going through the last year? Do you know her?

I get feeling bad for someone who dies, its a shitty situation. But I think its shittier that no one cares about them until they die. Then its all OMG OMG byeeee I<3edYouuuuu .. when in fact .. you never gave two shits about them .. until something tragic happens.

just saying.

There is always the one person who copies and pastes this exact post every time a celeb dies and someone is stupid enough to feel bad about it...

Doesn't seem to be any of that here. So its being described as "sad" and "shocking", both those reactions are pretty reasonable if you ask me.

Wait until people actually freak out before you post something like that.

Sad yes
Loved her in Sin City.

I really enjoyed her performance in Don't Say a Word.

RIP

I thought she was a pretty good actor. Not the best but pretty good...

It's a shame that she died...

But she looks absolutely horrible in that picture...

+1.....I think its the age more than anything. I am sure if an older actor passed, there would still be a thread about his/her accomplishments, etc......but there wouldnt be a shock value that a young person has.

Most people are going to have a reaction to a young person dying, as it is unfortunate that they were unable to live their whole (expected) life.....its sad!

Posted by FunkyCrew on Dec-20-2009 21:36:

the way I see it - people like this are a BIG deal, and everyone can go around denying it and saying otherwise.. the fact that we know of them, see their pictures in daily news sites, listen to their work or watch their work on screen - they made it big out there, they deserve to be talked about

especially young actors and/or musicians - Heath, Dj Am.. although I was very bitter since both overdosed with meds/drugs, I think it's absolutely normal to talk about this
they are fucking YOUNG! it is exactly why it is a big deal, the fact that they died.. the things they did, one way or another it affects our lives and culture

I mean, if I die at this young age, I sure hope that there won't be a bandwagon of people claiming I OD'ed

anyway, not to make this a personal rant..

RIP Brittany

Agreed. I liked her movies for a nice feel good, light romantic comedy. Just Married was my favorite.
