[ONLY.NY] - Live & Indirect (Summer 2010 | Restock pg.10)
Ok so the start up went off great, have gotten through 7 seasons of lines and some awesome brand exposure. So I figured, now if any would be the better time to open it up to tranceaddict. I wasn't sure the audience would be a great fit since you all ASSUME I'm some GHETTO ASIAN CHIGGA, just sad to know that most of you all don't play the part. Anyways, if you find some of the graphic t's, hoodies, hats, etc appealing, feel free to order straight from the site.
There's a coupon code at the bottom for 25% off everything. Spring 2010 Line due out soon, don't you worry women, we got you shortly...

| Originally posted by idoru I've just never understood the point of having a random, meaningless word plastered all over your clothes. Especially if the word is just the brand name; at that point you're just one gigantic, moving billboard. |
Well said all it's understood that branding isn't for everyone. i think in the statement we're making it's more about brand awareness since we've spent virtually no marketing money and are relying on word of mouth. The photoblog kinda explains it through visual art. Graf was a major part in this so throwing up a 'tag' or a name is the pioneer. Although not limiting to only that type of design, initially it does wonders for brand awareness. Most if any of the marketing is sticker bombing the city, we see BNE as a huge graf artist who strictly goes up snyping. Snyping/Sniping is putting up advertisements on walls/billboards at night with no consent.
We do have a full line coming that caters to cut and sow items, so parkas, zip ups, button downs, and most accessories that fall under 'fashion' will be coming shortly.
All of this was started with the intentions of highlighting photographic ability and word art (graf). There was no major capital invested, this isn't ran by a parent company, this is 2 kids starting something years back they just never knew it. So after 7 successful seasons, and now a major part of this team I'm helping spread the good word. And it's only now that we are pushing the next level and seeking media kits at large publications, online marketing, and actual metrics to gauge our sales.
I don't think I need to go more into it and can probably sum a lot of this up to surviving 2-3 years as a small business with some mass appeal. It's only now that we are looking to move on it as a serious business.
So this is probably as cliche as it gets (or clique) but support the small pop up businesses and fight the corporations.

Maybe some of your new stuff will appeal more. Are you going to post it here when the new stuff comes in?
of course, when the spring line drops I'll add onto the post, probably within 2 weeks.
