I for one am happy it is in the main room. I know MMC (Miami music conference) is what space calls the week for themselves but I am wondering if the space show truly is Pauls only Miami performance other than his appearance at the IDMA awards

I was maybe planning on skipping PVD this year, but his recent tracklists have caught my eye. So... on with tradition!
I also really like the lineups upstairs. Gonna be a long day/night/morning.

Even though he has closed every Ultra, even the first one on the beach, I truly hope Space is his one & only conference performance. That way maybe LP paid him more $$$ for exclusivity & he drops an extended set

Event is 11 p.m. to 2 p.m.?

Will Paul come on 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the next day or something?

There are also two types of tickets:

Before 12:00 a.m., and

Before 2:00 a.m.

We don't have parties like this in Los Angeles (latest they go is 7 a.m. at club Avalon, the other clubs close by 4 a.m.), so I'm wondering if anyone has been to this type of event before and can explain things (what type of ticket is best, when do the headliners normally come on, etc.)

PVD will most likely start somewhere near 2:00 and end before 6. That is usually when it ends downstairs, but everybody is hoping they add some talent to follow him. The upstairs at space goes past noon the next day. The type of ticket you want depends on when you plan on getting there, but even if you get "before 2am", you would be advised to arrive quite a bit early to gaurantee entry. It gets pretty crazy outside after Ultra lets out.

Thanks! I also read another WMC thread about the possibility (or not) of a combo terrace ticket, so I may wait a bit on this event. Was also thinking about going to Warren/Seaman which is the same night, so I need to decide on that too...

Edit: I noticed the "after 2" tix already went up to $60, so went ahead and got my b4 12 ticket, guess I can always sell it later should I want to hear Dave & Nick instead.

ummmm...just realized that Space is not in South Beach...what's the best way to get there from SB without a car...public transport, taxi? I've read that Miami can be scary at night...

I believe the $40 before 12AM PVD ticket gets you PVD access in the main room AND access to both the Terrace and the Loft for Toolroom Knights and Drumcode. When you click on the tickets for PVD at Space, it includes all the talent for the night/morning.

Correct me if I'm wrong, guys, but I bought my $40 before 12AM ticket because that's how I think it is.

EDIT: Take a look at the party time listed on the PVD ticket, it says 11PM-2PM the next day! The Terrace should be included!

If this is the case then that's pretty good!

I really fancy this night, but it also collides with Nick Warren and Hybrid. This Space party would be bonkers though!

Another drawback is that I would be going to this after Ultra, so I would be pretty tired, as well as having Ultra again the next day, followed by Ferry in the evening. Fuck. I'm not going to get any sleep!

Can anyone else confirm that the before 12am ticket allows admission to all areas? Wouldn't mind that extra bit of reassurance before I think about purchasing! If I can only get access to one room with one ticket, then I would rather go to the Hope night.

and if you're too lazy to read through all that... just think about this... why would space be charging the same price ($40) for both a combo pass and a terrace only ticket? thats stupid. no where on that page does it say anything about combo ticket. the fact that the artists are listed is probably just because an idiot filled out the wanttickets page.

Oh well, thanks for the info! I still think it was a good idea for me to buy my PVD ticket at $40, because no one has any clue how much the combo pass is going to be. If it works out that we can get up into the Terrace then it works out. If it doesn't then we will head back to south beach and find an afterhours party.

I emailed Lius Diaz who is the marketing manager for space last week asking if there will be a combo pass for both events, and this was his response:

"You wont need a combo. The reason we sell both events separately is because we most limit the amount of presales per rooms and be able to track them for capacity issues. The club will be all access that night ast both tickets will be at the same price"

Well thanks to "PatMcGroin" for showing me this flyer, I will now for be attending this event because Sander Van Doorn and Giueseppe Ottaviani will be playing with PVD in the main room.

maybe it allows them to sell more tickets? also you figure people who just browse wantickets don't like pvd and like toolroom or vice versa it might catch their eye...who knows and who is to say that they won't change it on or before the day comes. you never know! not trying to be a pessimist...not like they haven't done it before.
