Early 1990s Italian House!

Hey folks!

Just felt like passing a message ... 1988-1994 italian house music greatly helped shape today's deep house and progressive house music. I suggest you guys dig into it (if you can find it). Here are some randoms. Others I wanted to post arent on YouTube

This thread made me remember Jovanotti - Libera l'anima (D.J. Professor 7"-Remix)

I also remember a music video of a duo playing synthesizers on a stage. Think they were Italian, maybe a boy and a girl. Must have been late 80's. Pretty vague, can't remember anything more unfortunately. Hope someone here can remember.

Oh, MBG is by far my favourite italian house artist. My fav has to be Trance Wave 1 EP. The man is a music genius. I am a proud owner of this CD:

Perhaps I should make my own mix of favourite italo house tracks. I havent made a mix in a looooooong time. I would have to dig hard, because I dont have my music sorted by country, haha.

I have to admit though, a lot of early italian house music scene is very experimental at best, might be too noodly for most people, but occasionally there are some really really nice music nuggets.

WOW, what a MINDBLOWING mix. After I heard it, I couldn't help but go through my collection in my spare time and pick out some of my favourites to make a mix of my own. yes! In the past 3 years since I discovered it, I've managed to track down all the records from it. One of those mixes that becomes very sentimental over time - each track has special value to me.
