Productors of the best SOUNDS (not TUNES!!!)...

hi people !

Here is a list of productors who creates the best sounds I ever heard:

.DuMonde < very special sounds!my favourites!
.Armin Van Buuren < very atmospheric sounds!
.S.h.o.k.k. < very strange sounds!
.Flutlicht < like S.h.o.k.k. : very strange but I'm found of their sounds!

what about yours ?

I realy like the 4 strings synth, as well as James Holden's signature space-like, echo synth. My favourite synth sound is the one heard in Schiller - Dream of You, the rather islandic, echo sound.

And that spicy, cheeky Marco V beat!!! Kick in the ass everytime

i agree, and marco V. magaes to create many different style of sounds beats and baslline to create his tracks!

flutlicht n shokk i love for shokks sharp stabbing noises and combination of osund from other genres mingled in, and flutlicht synths and echoey effects created during breakdowns!

imo, one of the most genius sounds was ATB's sound... you know.. that guitar sound.... i mean.. atb did become a bit mainstreem but you gotta admit that his sound was amazing. .. sometimes i ask myself... why didnt i think of that... that shit became so popular! lol

i really enjoyed the sounds in second sun- empire. i dunno if second sun consistently uses those sounds, but empire...i wanna hear that live but i havta say that i enjoy dumonde and 4strings

Not Really Entirely All Trance But.......

For some of the best sounds listen to Brian Transeau's (BT) last two cd's, some of the sounds me makes are absolutley AMAZING. It feels like they're an effects box in your head and a monkey's banging on it.

Also not always trancey but Hybrid pull off some AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME sounds, in most songs there's a breakdown/buildup thing in the 2nd half which always Rocks.

If you want a great example get "War Of The Worlds - Eve of The War (Hybrid remix)"

Some parts are insane! Couldn't really play it in a prog trance set which is my area, but damn you have to appreciate the production.

Also infected mushroom do some great stuff....get Infected Mushroom - Devil ...oh my god I think my head will explode, reeeeallly energetic

Chicane & Salt Tank did a great job on 'Leaving Town' the Mea Culpa Remix...

There's a sound in there that just drives the entire track.

I would have to say cosmic gate & shokk have the best lead sounds...I've always wondered what synths they use...I don't feel AVB is doing anything special in the sound department, but on communication II the reverb on the lead sound is the best I've heard so far....

Sasha - Xpander, Belfunk, most everything in Airdrawndagger, he mixes very atmospheric effects with funky basslines
Push - love his synths
im also a fan of the Gouryella sound
