Las Vegas Trip
Going to Vegas in 2 weeks...
This will be my first time going so I was wondering for those who have been... any tips ? Which clubs to check out/avoid? Restaurants? Anything at all really.
Thanks
how long are you planning to stay? did you pick out a hotel yet?
go check out:
Clubs:
Wet Republic at MgM...day pool party...saturday
Rain at The Palms
Encore Beach at Wynn...day pool party...sunday
Surrener at Wynn
Dining:
Diego in MgM
N9NE Steakhouse in The Palms
The cabbies hold the VIP passes, just ask them on the way to the club you're going.
Bring lots of money.
Body English in the Hard Rock host a sick house party every Sunday. Hit it up after a pool party and you're good to go.

I've been going once or twice a year recently. I have been to some of the clubs, but it's not for me anymore, as it's hard to tell from the real girls from the hookers. Yes, you will find easy pickings until they start hinting at money. They'll even approach you, you buy them drinks until she doesn't pass the sniff test. You can always go to a club just to see the DJ, so you're good if you have this outlook. Dress to impress, bouncers pick people out of the linups, so no first come first serve really. Get VIP cards to reduce the hassle, but that's $$$. See http://www.freevegasclubpasses.com/ for discounts.
I just go with dates now and to play at the tables and see shows, and be on TV game shows (Vegas or LA). Wheel of Fortune is taping there right now I believe.
Rooms are very cheap right now till the end of October. If it's your first time, stay in the central strip. I prefer the Golden Nugget on the old strip. There's always something for everyone.

go on clubzone for some of those VIPs, also go to Poker tables and ask the girls there too.
Go to X/S Sat nights, best club there by far.
Go to Rehab closing or Wet Republik at MGM for your pool parties.
Try las Vegas Outlets for shopping, the one north of city. It's a shopping oasis.
Ask around for buffets, I think you have one in your hotel, even.
check the Vegas threads on here
Also, Drai's for afterhours but it's bit of a club/afters hybrid.

just got back from vegas today. stayed at the aria..wouldnt reccomend. If i were you id stay at the Hard rock because its a younger hipper hotel. its hard to tell which girls are hookers and which are hot chicks. I hit up clubs, tao blush and some local place. if you want easy pickings for sluts that wont charge you money, go to old vegas strip and dress decently tip large and hit on the girls working in the casino.
hit the shooting range too.
Caesar's Palace ftw!! Wasn't impressed with the clubs at all but Moon Night Club was decent for Industry Night on Monday I think. Incredible view of the strip from the patio. I had a good enough time walking up and down the strip with a 12 pack of Heineken from 7-11
I recall being at Drai's Afterhours and someone asking me what I <3 CZ was (I was wearing the shirt). "An after hours in Toronto that's a helluva lot better than this place". Though they did have a comfort zone of their own...

Montreal's afters, all three of them blow Drai's away, blow away TOs too. But the pool parties and X/S nightclub are better than what'd you find in most cities

Oh, I have no clue man.
Everything is pretty much double the price. I guess it depends on where you stay/eat/gamble.

I had a fun time at Drai's when I was there.
And Eric is right, the hooker/stripper to non-hooker ratio in Vegas is like 7 to 3. It's quite remarkable how many dollar hungry skanks there are in that city.
FOOD
- Tom Colicchio's (Top Chef Judge) Craftsteak @ MGM Grand = best steak/meal i have ever had. pricey but well worth it.
- Mario Batali's (Iron Chef) Enoteca San Marco @ Venetian also really really good!
- Wynn's buffet is incredible. about $30 a person but gourmet buffet.
If you hit Wet Republic make sure you let them know that you're staying @ MGM so you get free entrance or else you'll be paying lots of money to get it. Sunday's normally the "house" day there so check the site to see if there's anyone who interests you.
If you're going to see a show they have plenty of discount ticket booths along the strip. Pretty good deals. Cirque du Soleil, "O" and "Le Reve" are 2 of the top shows from what i heard. i saw "le reve", cool if you and you're girl are into that shit.
Enjoy
