I'll stick to direct downloads or apple tv

the thing that sucks about using stuff that streams is that all ISPs have a monthly bandwidth cap. if we had unlimited bandwidth i would be all over this.

I don't like how you have to input the CC info so they "don't bill you till the month after"

no thanks!

I have launched an all out war on robbers. They are getting worse and worse. I am about to buy out the contract and go to koodo. Also looking into alternatives for cable and internet. Im done with those clowns!

If you want more bandwidth. Just switch to Teksavvy and get MLPPP. Double DSL connections. It will cost you, but you get up to 10 Mbps (down) - 1.6 Mbps (upload) for $84.

unlimited bandwidth

pretty much ALL companies that offer a trial period require you to supply them with CC info because its in the trial agreement that they will bill you for membership after the trial period is over (unless you login to cancel).

I just checked...

Still 60 gigs...

Unless they lower it for the next billing cycle...

Customers who signed up after July 21 will notice that the Lite and Extreme services have been changed. Lite customers will now only have a 15GB cap, compared to 25GB before. The Extreme monthly cap package has been lowered from 90GB a month to just 80GB. The Extreme package will also get a boost from 10Mbps to 15Mbps, while the Lite plan speeds were unchanged.

Customers who signed up before July 21 will remain unchanged.

The last line is what's important to me...

not ALL
we don't we give our customers 1 week free trial, no obligations
it's just set to expire after 7 days and then they can't login

how about all those online download programs that are "3 months trial version" and stop functioning after that, unless you pay up?

Posted by VDub on Sep-22-2010 23:00:

Because if you do it that way, you can't make money from the ppl who forget to cancel...

yeah and then get tons of calls from pissed off peeps who forgot demanding to cancel..

Posted by nsane on Sep-23-2010 01:01:

I got this today on the ps3. 360 is not supported yet, at the end of fall i heard. But wtf. there's like 250 movies on this thing.

US has 70000.

I know it just got released but its laughable. I will probably play so I can advance with the community but Fuck, i should switch to Teksavy for unlimited cap.

why is it a companies Job to protect people from themselves?

if you sign up for something that's trial based, and forget to cancel you should blame your self not the company... looking at the netflix site, the instructions are pretty clear

just my 2 cents
