World Cup 2018 Russia ..... World Cup 2022 Qatar

Damn I was hoping England would get it in 2018, and the US in 2022.

Russia I am cool with getting though.

But Qatar though? Really?

I just forsee them getting drilled in every game

Although I really think England had the best package at the table, its no secret that FIFA hates the FA and especially after the Panorama scandal, I'm not at all surprised Russia won in the end.....which I can live with, I'm sure the Russians will pull out all the stops and do a fine job.

But Qatar.....are you kidding me? What a joke.

Yea I don't get it. I think if you are going to award it to a new country give it to the Aussies at least. It's funny because I just started watching Boardwalk Empire last night and I was thinking, fuck America was ass backwards back during prohibition, lucky for them they had good old Canadian whisky runners providing sweet liquid gold for them . Thank fucking god there are no rules like that in North America anymore and we don't live in an ass backward country like some of the Loony Farm's in the Middle East.

And then they award the World Cup to a country where being drunk in public is a punishable offence, with strict antiquated laws with regards to alcohol.

Unless they change their laws I doubt like SERIOUSLY doubt any Europeans or South Americans will be going down there to support their teams and without them, it will just be another soul-less World Cup ala South Africa.

I guess it could be worse though, they could have awarded it to Iran (lol death penalty) or Saudi Arabia.

Qatar is basically a one city-state: Doha.

Where will they put all the stadiums, what will they do with them after the WC.

It just seems like a huge waste of resources.

This being said, I am not surprised, these mickey mouse caliphats are run by big egos who are willing to throw money out of the window just to get some visibility.

Qatar may not be on the top of everyone's list for places for the FIFAWC, but they have some pretty fuckin sweet plans for proposed stadiums!!!
