Trance Music Has Lost Its Way
Hi all,
i have been buying and listening and mixing trance and dance many years now,im a frequent customer on audio jelly but in the last year apart from a very select few releases the trance vibe has lost its way, gone are the simple uplifting synths and beats and vocals which made trance the legend that it was, every big release has electro and pop vocals running through them.Even the tracks without vocals sound so electro and over done!i know music evolvs buts it evolving to something very boring.where are the tunes that gave you the rush when your mixing or out in the clubs, i personally only get that when the older tunes come on and the places go wild now that tells me something.Sorry for the rant! just want the hands in the air feelin once again....
GTFO.
Holy shit!
Thank God you've spent the time to bring this to our attention. We'll get right to work on this. We must marshal the troops and fix this trend you've noticed, at once. This is something that has long been at the back of my mind but I was too afraid to start a thread about it. Perhaps there are others, like us, who have suffered in silence, long enough.

Welcome to 6 years ago
this reminds me of...The Puppy who Lost His Way
The Unicorns left for the Mithlond a long time ago.
How insightful!!
Not.
The Way that can be understood
is not the eternal, cosmic Way,
just as a post expressed in words
cannot be the infinite idea.
Is this a post from 7 years ago?
No, but we need more threads like this one. SOMEBODY needs to spread the word that trance is dead. I commend you, badbhoy, in having the courage and foresight to bring to attention something that nobody has thought before. Especially not over the past 5 years, and especially not on this very forum.

I'm very much beginning to regret my silence on this issue for such a long time. If I'd only known others had thought similarly. Thank you, OP! I feel a little lighter, already, eagerly awaiting more of your poignant insight. If you'd like to know the vanguard of music I truly consider the best, DJRYAN has just posted two of the most wonderful pieces of music I've heard, this year (and maybe even last year, too
). I'd suggest, highly, you check him out.

Forgive me if you've already heard of him, simply because he's bound to be famous.

I wish he had added some voice-overs to the tracks. That's the only thing missing imo. Other than that, "perfect" doesn't do them justice.
How about some Afgin?

Its true, because the trance producer is not strong enough. they keep following what others do.
