s0t is 17 I believe and I listen to him when he spins on TA radio. He's not well known but he's still a good DJ IMO. As long as the DJ is good, who the hell cares what their age is? You can also ask the same question except say "would you listen to a DJ if he was in his 50s"...age isn't a big thing with DJ'ing...it's your skillz.

Hmm, I would say Armin...but Fergie is young aswell.

Posted by lonne on Aug-19-2002 02:08:

I think Fergie and James Holden are quite young, anyway I dont know their age and I dont find that intersting either.

9 years old?....you got to be jokin. $50 is like 500KR in sweden, and that in a hour?

Posted by Devbert on Aug-19-2002 02:48:

If your talking world famous, then yeah, Armin is the youngest. But there are some up and comers who are younger. Though they will probably never be as good as the GOD known to us as AvB.

nothing wrong with young DJs. I bet they will be less known just becaues it seems it would be harder for them to get recognition. THey just don't have the money/resources as adult DJs. There may be exceptions though, like the kid might know someone in the record label, something like that.

I think James Holden

Almost me

Giotto DJ (SHOKK) is only 20! so young but with such great talent dunno how you class as "well known" but he is in my books!

Posted by IronDragon on Aug-19-2002 18:41:

Fergie is 21 and Nick Sentience is 22 and Armin and Matt Hardwick are 24 (I think). Those are the only ones under 25 I can think of.

Richard Helstrip (Free Radical) is supposedly like 17 but he's only a producer so suppose that doesn't count.

Agreed 100%. He's so young, but one of the best producers in trance.

i was so suprised when i first found out how young he is

hehe, I remember of one party I've been to. There was this DJ who was 10 years old, and he could mix drum'n'bass, trance and rock all at the same set and not even changing the pitch - he's good, eh?
