Did Sherman come through here or something?

Cause this forum is burned to the ground.

And kudos to anyone who gets my bad joke without having to google it.

Damn, Atlanta and the SE East really are dead, huh?

yeh i gotcha, i googled it after the fact and it brought back the history lesson memories. I did not want to bullshit and pretend I knew what it meant before I looked it up.

Posted by trancension on Oct-18-2011 01:46:

ahhh, gotcha

but ya, this forum is kinda dead, and by kinda dead, i mean dead

Posted by PVDfan07 on Oct-19-2011 00:24:

Dream Beamz must not be from here. lol Yeah, not only is there absolutely no shows to speak of, but haven't been any for months. Did Devin quit or something? I check here occasionally hoping to be surprised with someone cool coming, but kind of gave up. Wonder what the deal is?

Forum yes, but more people then ever are going out to events. Last weekend alone had 12,500 people on Friday & 12,5000 people on Saturday at Verizon amphitheater for Pretty Lights and Bassnectar. We had Oakenfold on Friday which ended up selling out and then there was Zedds Dead at the loft and it was sold out as well! We also did 4000 people last Saturday for Hardwell at Wild Bills, 2500 People the weekend before for Skrillex @ The tabneracle!

Nice.

I really just meant the TA:SE forums though. Cause I know there's still a lot of shows. Seems to be like 3 shows a week at The Quad alone.

Pretty cool to hear we had 12,500 back-to-back nights though.

Posted by PVDfan07 on Oct-22-2011 05:09:

I am not familiar with Bassnectar and Pretty Lights, but considering I've heard these kids in my class who are always talking about raving and getting wasted saying they listened to them, I can only assume it's not great music. Correct me if I'm wrong. There are shows around, but not the caliber we are used to. If someone who I've never heard of can sell 12,500 tickets, I must really be out of the loop though. If Oakenfold is the best thing coming through, something must be wrong. Though, I thought he was pretty good the one time I saw him. Also, why's everyone gotta make fun of Ryan, he's not that bad.

Anyways, Devin, is there anything on the horizon us trance people can look forward to. I'll go to just about anything at this point. Been a year since I've gone to a show.

Posted by trancension on Oct-22-2011 05:30:

No...Ryan actually is that bad. He really does turn every thread into something about him, which someone did warn us about the very day he became a member here. I thought that person was exaggerating. I should have listened...we should have listened. May God have mercy on our souls.

RIP TA:SE

This is what I have through the end of the year, most of our efforts have been on this other project we have been working on.

10.28 - Gabriel & Dresden
11.11 - Robbie Rivera
11.16 - Trance DJ TBA
11.30 - Martin Solveig
12.14 - Fedde Le Grand

I've felt a little heavily centered; I'll admit this.

For once there were so many walls, the placards and visages of the etched titans of turntables masking themselves in a hedonistic undulating time warps of Alex MORPH. Understand that this affected me once too, singing Dogzilla - Without You, to you, through to, the senses you've only just abandoned.

But not by choice. None of this is ever by choice, no matter the contents of your veins. The cobblestoned hollow bones and pronounced collarbones, there was enough ecstasy to make the time stay at the right speed, relative to our expanse. I can assure you I was together as one with the myopic latitudes of the moments that passed. I can tell you that I felt this and felt it more when I heard Solid Globe tracks.

Our scene, nay the very architecture by which we occupy has been plundered, dare I say pilfered right from the tips of our toes, placed on a metaphysical tertiary space where only through the muffled mortar can you even hear Elements of Life trickling through the seams. I can't honestly take all that much more of this. I yearn for every magnum opus and then I'm greeting the onus of each bonus mastered moments of rays splicing through my fingernails.

Scratching on the walls, I wish all clubs were The Eleven 50. I wish every dj was Armin and Paul van Dykington from 2004-2005. elite years at the forefront of timelessness.

I will have you know.

Remember Tiesto 2007? I wish I could do numbers in all caps, such as 2007. Because this. This.

Who all went, with the clustered coils of humanity baking in the corona of the afterburned, aftermarket timecrunch of pills. This was the trancefamily as I knew it then and as I remember it once was. I think we all do if we are posting on here and to that, well to that I think all of us owe much to our forebears. And a salute to the stalwart stallions still standing in accordance with the farflung family of those still remaining.

Above and Beyond was once here. Down through, the dark trees. I know that ELEVEN 50 was lit up that night, as the splintered ends of the static that combined us. On that night we were one battery, feeding each other in one constant stream of joy and lasting pills.

Then the one year, I think the vilest of Filos and the perfectest of Peris came here, featuring Tiff Lacey, to this very THE LOFT venue that we have in our grip. I do remember this quite well as it was during the days of Christmas's basking essence. They did bring the Sanitliest of Nicks and there were many things to offer from the speakers for each adjourning ear. Submission was unequivocal, only Darude was pivotal.

I remember being touched all over by music before. That was then, this is post-recession. And so I get what you all mean, for I mean it more in many, many ways. Since, you know, AIG. The trance has not been the same for me. We've all received an extra shade of gray, and not all trance can stay. I think we must learn, must sojourn for a variable we must solve the physical algebra to embrace. Intertwine.

In time.

Evidence among us, telling us so much, the fiber has ruptured and nothing lasts forever. This much and then muchly more, suchly sure and so on and so forth.

Ok, maybe I'm being too nice. lol.

Well, Gabriel and Dresden may be cool, but probably can't make it. Guess that 11/16 date is the last glimmer of hope for us trance fans.

I think we're all on the mend a bit. To circumvent, admitting wrongs in the air vents. To circumscribe, ascribing faults as holy advent. Advertise your faith in one another, slogan for your love, your lust a part of speech. Testament, a test to all the others while as yourself you could hardly scant or teach.

Take a week off, stressful calisthenics
Blood-let with the diabetics
Dehydrate with the diuretics
Graffiti your physical aesthetics
Point out all of your positive characteristics
Connect the points to determine animalistic

Nature of the purported levy and wealth whispered 'ception. Carrying a gun with you, loaded with exceptions. An obstacle course for muted biology. Lost amongst the math of refuted praise. What is life without the maze? Expulsion of deprivation, the only diet is starvation. Corporeal can't deny the real. The torpor feel can't fit inside and heal.

Denigrate and decadence, and hand grenade for your malcontent.

Get this, she wasn't even fifteen yet. And her complexion advertised misconception.

And he was bodily illiterate.

Three weeks before she was found, in an envelope form. Slumping back into his wicker, hair slightly askew, beads of sweat forming upon the brow like dew on grass when no one ever really notices; it's just suddenly there.

Inverted byproduct thought, admonish all sequestered, leave an abode for the molestors. Pay rent and dine in algorithm, say your spent with plight and partly because of vile amalgamations. Quote Bible verse and severed contacts, letters from all forgotten acquaintances. Amounting to a mounting trepidation of inadvertent insulation. Scopolamine wedding vows callously calculated with calamine settings, how --

How?

She wasn't even fifteen yet?

No, no she wasn't. But her complexion advertised misconception and her blood didn't seem to carry any directions. Her youth but a blunder and her ribs aren't any blunter than the hammer she mistakenly wrapped her mind around. Deciphering and proliferating all the worst things thought in all the worst ways imaginable. Every breath she sucked in was unbearable pseudosynthesis I'm afraid as she wilted in the same way a door does when slammed far too harshly.

I think she'll come to, just give her placebo love commitments, it seems to make her lips change colors like a mood ring. Her eyes roll around in acceptance. I think. I think? No, try not to. It's best not to. That's only the air pressure trickling down, resting firmly upon the shoulders.

He owns a Caprice and a penchant for forgetfulness. Wish them the best of times. And Armin's only number 2 this year.
