Pregnancy Pictures

i think these are so gross. why? why show us all your stretch-marked out stomach with you like looking off to the side with your alien belly button? i don't get it. i have like 4 people on my facebook who are pregnant right now and this one chick just posted some belly pics and i'm sorry it just looks nasty.

pregnancy is kind of a big deal, and when you're getting close to the end of your pregnancy and your baby is a good size, you start getting really excited to see your baby, and realize that once your pregnancy comes to an end, so does the experience. some people try to immortalize that experience by taking pictures of themselves pregnant, just like people do wedding photos, or graduation photos, etc. I didn't do this because i don't feel that looking at a picture would bring back that feeling. I can understand why others do. There are probably some women who think it looks 'sexy' which is just wrong, imo. I really don't think it's a big deal though, you probably won't get it unless you're pregnant. why does it look nasty? i'd rather have stretch marks from being pregnant then from being fat. and incase anyone is wondering, i don't have any stretch marks, which is pretty good seeing as i've had 2 kids.

this is not about taking pictures, this is about showing them on facebook and etc as if anyone (other than maybe the person's own family) wants too see them

i'm talking about the sexy ones with the dudes holding their boobs or something or like that... like people who do glamour shots for their bellies. but this girl was already kinda big and so the belly out with her skin saggy... i just think it's gross.

also, i doubt that you had an entire photo album on facebook dedicated to a pregnancy "photo shoot" with different angles of your belly.

Also only really fit chicks look good pregnant, otherwise its just multiplying already gross skin.

I think for guys though its a sign of fertility (duh) and sexual activeness in the most overt way possible, so its a turn on to some of them.

Well I agree with you on blasting them on facebook, I mean, if that's your bag of chips then maybe it should be more of a personal thing. That picture is the only one of my bare pregnant belly, that was rowan in there. Your original post sounded like you were suggesting that pregnant women look gross and nasty.

it's no worse than those who put up their scans as if some of us have never seen what something that will eventually be a person looks like as their profile pics.

Really?! I always get excited to see ultrasound pictures, it's interesting to see how they turn out. having them in an album is different from having them on view as your profile picture and your settings set that everybody can see them when they get friend requests or whatever.

It's rather like a friend of my mums who has a 9 year old. He's got a smartphone, she buys him 18cert video games like Call of Duty and he's constantly on facebook and she does nothing but moan about how kids aren't safe anymore and they can't be kids these days.

nooooooo no i'm sorry if it came out that way. you were a particularly adorable pregnant lady. pregnancy itself IS beautiful, and i don't deny that.

i just don't want to see it on facebook necessarily....especially if the girl happens to already by chunky/hairy/stretch marky...
