I want to see it! Your recommendation just furthers this. It looks so simple, like it just doesn't give a shit, and the 2000AD lore is obviously a respectful nod, from what I have read.
I've never seen a 3D movie before, is this worth caring about?

I stole a pair of 3D glasses last time I went to a 3D movie. ******s charged me $35 for 2 tickets to Tintin in 3D. So, I kept the god damn glasses.
Yeah I just keep the glasses, pay for a cheaper movie, and walk into the 3D flicks.
surprising. i thought the trailer looked awful but it seemes to be getting good reviews
Seriously guys, don't let the 3D dissuade you. It's used in an understated and classy way in the film, and there are a couple of set-pieces that justify its use. Either way, just go see the fucking film. By all accounts it's bombing at the US box office, which is an absolute travesty.
this got a bunch of thumbs up from several folks here a couple of days ago. then again the crowd watching falls under people who enjoy gore, suspense, and thrillers.
karl urban is a serious boss so im gonna try and check it out this week.
Fuck, it doesn't even have a release date here yet.

This movie kicked soo much ass i coudln't believe it. Dredd (Karl Urban) is a baddass mother****** and that girl he was with godamn she was smoking! great movie go see it! It had good ambient scenes too.

Trailer made it look pretty awful.
I'll make a mental note to check it out if I can. Starts on Friday here.
I was going to wait for the blu-ray release, but I may bump it up to cinema status now.
On a related note, Judge Dredd was on last night (the Stallone film). What a giant, steaming pile of donkey wank that was.
