This forum is slowww... =( Yet EDM is as big as its ever been.
How come the jaded went hiding? *scratches head*
I used to love this forum for its constant complaining about trance music. Where are my technoaddicts / techhouseaddicts at?\
... chirp chirp
Robert Stern moved to Vegas. He's now part of the "Pump My Butt" club over there.
The technoaddicts / techhouseaddicts are all curled up in a k-hole somewhere fascinated with how superior their tastes in music is.
Edit: forgot the safety wink
I'm on vacation, gimme a break!

Basically, most of the people on this forum HATE EDM.
So, since it is rising in popularity they are dwindling. As we are no longer the "cool" kids in the know of something "special" & underground. ahhhhhhahahaha
Because its not Dubstepaddict.com\Electrohouseaddict.com\electroaddict.com\deadau5addict.com
People who are currently college-age and younger don't really use forums much. They never really had to, since stuff like MySpace/FB/twitter was already there for communication and groups when they the reached high school.
This forum is basically now the people who have been listening to the stuff for a long time and haven't "retired" yet. Our numbers are dwindling.
So.... you are saying we are a bunch of old ass farts....
35 i guess I could be most of the EDM fans dads
Arrogance has consumed them. You can still get a taste of it in the "Music Discussion" sub-forum, they hate everything pretty much. I can be pretty bad when it comes to music arrogance, but these guys are like a whole different level of it.
I only like Armin. Armin only.
I'll admit. I'm kind over EDM too. But then occasionally I come across good music and I feel rejuvenated again. Only look forward to certain events these days. It's all CRAP mixed with a bag of farts and extra cheese.

there are a lot of reasons, here are a couple IMO:
this forum is incredibly dated and poorly moderated (all sections of TA, not specifically picking any single subforum). might as well rename the general forums to "Troll Addict"
it looks dated and really only "just works" and is missing a lot of features a forum could support
i.e. no one new is coming here, so as people get older they are leaving/posting less and no one new is taking their place
do we need an additional mod?
it's not this forum, it's all the forums. this place is filled with shitty fucking trolls
the moderators live by "hands off" mentality and it really doesnt work, but whatever... it's just one small piece of the pie

I fell in love with the EDM sounds of the 90s and 00s. However, once 2010 rolled in, everyone it seemed like had changed their sounds. Seemingly, it became a shitfest of electro dubstep. I just stick to a few shows a year now and listen mostly to old gems. It depresses me a lot to see what happened to EDM
People are moving on.
this thread has potential.
FUCK THEM n00bs!!! Ruining the scene.
Robert Stern likes to be butt plugged.

Was in the Texas forum and that place that I frequented has died over the past year.
Sad.
