Why should we care about the votes made by people who don't know anything outside of their fluffy, vocal, made-to-be-radio-edited trance?

I like ASOT as a label because not all of it is what I described above, but ASOT the podcast is like a damn pop station, and self-congratulates itself every 50th episode like it means that much.

The ASOT Track of the Year votes count as much as the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ votes....in other words, not much......and who keeps getting voted in as the #1 dj?

Still a better choice than Guetta though.

Not really, for me personally then, vocals always have been there and I always loved vocals long before getting into trance. Like Gat Decor - Passion for instance.

i actually remember even before that how weird it was and how uneasy some of us felt when tiesto exploded and brought the dutch sound. it really created this weird thing were suddenly you really saw a difference between progressive trance and dutch trance and the fact that a lot of 90s trance fit in easier with the progressive sound than an epic trance set.

JonDC and I jumped around like clowns in a club containing literally eight people to this track. Actual fact.
