Searching for 'Nu NRG - Butterfly'

I heard this track in the live set @ Orgasmatron, which is available for download at this site, and I went nuts! It's sooo cool, I wonder how they got that 'wet' sound in the strings part. Sounds like they used a very fast flanger...

But anyway, I got to have this on mp3, but can't find it anywhere!
Please help me! (Must be 192 kb bitrate...)

thanx!

never heard of this. is it as good as dreamland?

Posted by dj dimwit on Sep-19-2002 10:40:

better!

Download the live set and you'll see

no NuNrg track can ever top dreamland

just as no PvD tune could ever top For an Angel
no Marco V tune could top GODD
no flutlicht tune could top icarus

u see where this is going...

i didnt think dreamland was that 100% fantasticly amzingly brilliantly good tho. it were good, but it didnt do much for me. listen to the likes of the Embargo mix of Insomnia - im into that sort of stuff at the mo.

In that case, you should just stop listening to new music. :P

nop I wait for new talented producers
and: I still like nu nrgs new traxx but they just are up to dreamland I think

Posted by Technaut on Sep-19-2002 17:27:

imo nu nrg are gonna be very big producers in the years to come. once they got Dreamland played by Paul van Dyk and got that kinda exposute, I think they realised the potential if they made some good songs and also to keep making new tracks.

It seems they have been spending a lot of time in the studdio and its paid off well.

Hell, I dont like every song they have made, but I sure do like a lot of them.

Anyone who has this track?
I didn't start this topic for 'this track is better!' 'No this one is better!!'

I was wondering if anyone could help me find this track...
So please help!

Posted by dj dimwit on Sep-20-2002 10:15:

Ok! That's what I needed to know

Posted by Freefall on Sep-20-2002 13:25:

This track that was played as part of their latest Orgasmatron set is only a test, as are a lot of the tracks. It's only available as part of the set they played rather than a single mp3.

aye,

there are some amazing unsigned tunes from those guys, quite hard to believe that tunes like "Butterfly" "Bonsai" and "Last Experience" are unsigned still :|

Rest assured that some of their work which hasnt already been released on vinyl, will be.

i know wat u mean mate, i had butterfly out on the decks yesterday and its a bitch to mix, it just starts off too stomping.

im not complaining though, ive got this masterpiece on wax!!

Posted by slinkyhead on Feb-01-2005 13:17:

shit, didnt realise this hasnt been released. could have sworn i heard a mate play it out the other week, will have to ask him

Posted by PlasticSoul on Feb-01-2005 14:42:

Butterfly was the first nu-nrg track i listened, when I was noob in trance and found tranceaddict site i saw a topic about them...
Its good, with much energy to fill a set.

But imo, there are better tracks:
Dreamland
Connective
Three drives - Carrera 2 (nu-nrg remix)
and the unique and maybe the best:

BONSAI !!!!

Heh. I like the sound of that

Funny tho that I posted about Last Experience in this thread and 2 1/2 years later they've never seemed to play it again Wonder if they ever will release it or put it on an album???
