I just wanna say this.

They have for sure the best dj's on the planet:

John '00' Fleming
Paul Oakenfold
Sasha & Digweed
James Holden
Parks & Wilson
......

And they spin quality trance, not the cheesy shit like Ferry, Armin, Gielen etc.....pump out of their turntables
I just wanna say the UK ownz
I love the underground sound there, keep it this way!

yeh we have too many peopel who "follow the trend" if its cool to like sum1 most people lwill liek them and fuck the rest of they arnt "cool" enough!

of all the dj's tranceseekers mentioned i wouldnt rate any as my favourites apart from j00f, but they are the more "famous" of the uk people.

Wurd. People gotta realize that there are more DJ's then Tiesto, PvD, Ferry and Armin. Personally, they're boring. Same tracks played throughout the sets. Most people listen to them to follow the 'trend'...kinda like 14 year old kids and rap music. They all listen to it to fit in. Don't get me wrong though, they're terrific DJ's, but there are more DJ's then just them. Armin, Ferry, Tiesto etc are 'mainstream dj's in the underground scene'...they're the most popular, yet I don't see why everybody is going crazy about them. DJ's as Tranceseeker mentioned, own Armin and Ferry imo. Hat's off to the UK. Now...time to get back to work on my science assignment.

I think what Tranceseeker was saying the UK had produced the best DJs, anyways Oakenfold travels all over the place all the time doubt he can be arsed to any place all time, be it UK, USA, Ibiza wherever.

ok...i'm from the states and i agree that in the TRANCE GENRE maybe the majority of the better djs come from the u.k. but moving past the djs and into venues they play at...i would rather be in an intimate club with say 500 people where there is plenty of space to dance and the music is still somewhat underground...the states.....JMO

There are indeed many fine artists from the UK, but I have absolutely no respect for the music spun by Sasha, Digweed, John 'OO' Fleming, or Paul Oakenfold. And no respect for them as people, either; I feel they're way overrated.

My personal opinion is that Germany ownz the trance community. No other country can compare with Germany in terms of the number and quality of Trance produced -- and not just 'cheese' as some of you may call it. Germany has always had the finest musicians, and Trance is no exception!
