Avatar confusion or repressed homosexuality ?

I decided to start this thread after reading the "flag" thread. I find this even more confusing than the flags. A lot of people put pics of buxom lasses in their sigs, and thats understandable as an expression of a fairly standard heterosexual tendency. What is more difficult to explain is the abundance of guys with chicks in their avatar. From what I understand an avatar is supposed to be a person that you identify with, or who represents values you identify with. Given this, it seems there's an interesting trend around here of guys who feel some similarity or likeness to attractive women with large breasts.

PS - Well I suppose I have heard people link gay culture to the rave/electronic music scene

PPS - Not that there's anything wrong with that.

We can't generalise, however, I don't like when blokes use girls both in their avatar and sign - we never know whether they're male or female

I guess the avatar must show "who you are" while signs can also show "what you like"

Reason why i have this chick in my avatar:

I do feel that i can identify with her though i am a guy and not gay.
I like the looks of her eyes. She looks kinda spaced out and "trancy". I felt that she could represent me thats all.
I has happened though that ppl tell me im fucking good looking just because they have seen my avatar :P

EDIT: Btw the girl in my Sig was my girlfriend so i dont se anything wrong with that
