greatest party moments
alright.. let it be
what were your greatest (and most memorable) party moments.. and let's keep it confined to this year only.
Armin in April when he dropped Airwave...and the lights were lowered. Just as the song was building up, the siren flares, BOOM! Everyone goes crazy (including me).
My most memorable moment comes from Ibiza during Tiesto's set at Amnesia.
I was traveling with my friend and 2 people from States whom we met on the ship to Ibiza. They never heard Tiesto live and the whole day I was telling them how amazing he is. In fact I was talking about it so much, that they were beginning to get irritated by me.
Finally we go into a club. I went looking around for a bit. Tiesto is playing awesome trance. About an hour later I finally meet my buddies, and their first words to me are - "Thank you so much for bringing us here. This is the best night of my life". We then go hugging each other.
That's it.. Sounds like nothing, but it really meant a lot to me - showing to others what Trance is really all about it, and getting appreciated for that..
Brunette, that's a tough one! There were just so many of those...
Well, here's one of those moments --> Tiesto @ Forza, Montreal, Grand Prix Weekend, June 8th. We are just enjoying the atmosphere, the music, the people, Tiesto himself, and as we're talking to a couple of people from Montreal, and they ask us where are we from. We say Toronto, naturally. They ask us are we in Montreal for the Grand Prix. We say, no man, we're here for this, and we turn around, point to Tiesto and the thousands of people underneath us dancing (since we were on the upper floor just enjoying the sight), and those guys were just surprised for a couple of seconds, then they just smiled, and gave us 2 thumbs up with some mad respects, and we were like "Wow..." It's always good to meet those kind of people, who appreciate the love for music...
Another one --> asking my man Armin, when he was in GUV in April (or whatever that was), to play Sound of Goodbye (Perpetuous Dreamer) and Strange World (Push)... that champ just smiled, like he knew that those 2 tracks are just gonna blow the damn club up, he said "Good choice", and 10 mins later he plays them one after another... when the club exploded during the Sound of Goodbye, he looks at me, smiles and points to the crowd, like he was saying "See, I told ya... they'd love it". What a champ that kid is...
Here's another one... a f00k it, I'll leave this one for later.
Paul Van Dyk - Industry - June 12,1999...
...With all my friends cuz it was my bday 3 days later and they were all new to Trance and I dragged them out for PVD... and then to hear For An Angel live at the peak of it's popularity in a club with only about 200 people was surreal...

Ummm... This year.. When Sasha & Digweed were here and Age of Love was played. Absolutely phenomenal. Yum. So good.
Funny, i guess my most memorable moment was also experienced with PVD and the track For An Angel.
PVD at Kool Haus 2001 on a Wednesday. It was at the end of his set. He stopped playing but people were all asking for an encore. So he dropped For An Angel.
He did something with the build up and then BOOOOOOMMMMMMMM.
Everyone was jumping: it was "the wave".

Remembered another one;
Armin in June...when Mark Oliver dropped Lustral - Everytime (Katcha's Last Time mix)...wow, it was amazing to hear that track live.

In Toronto this year.. probably when Sasha spun Solid Sessions "Janeiro" 
Elsewhere: on Mykonos.. it was about 11 am, just got out of a club Cavo Paradiso.. didn't have anywhere to go (was there for 3 nights and 2 days and didn't get a hotel room cause they were too expensive, but it's a party island anyways, so I just went to parties all night and slept on the beach during the day) so went to Paraga cafe, above the beach.. Morcheeba's "Otherwise" and a pool in the middle of it looking towards the sea.. just mattresses on the floors and people sitting there, talking, smoking up, chiiiiiiiiilling. Then went for a swim. Ah, heaven.
greatest moment??? hmmmm...ill say for now that it was AVB & DJ Orkidea @ state 01' great crowd, great musik, great set-up, etc. Orkidea stole the show that night, people didn't want him to leave, by the time AVB showed up, i was already slowly dieing out hehe

for me was labour of love cos i gotta talk to infected mushroom well ok i didnt talk much but i got to shake their hands nad put a little speech in
umm... err... Thats really hard 'cuz I have a lot of great memories from the summer, but they're all different. I think it was one night I went to System. I went with one friend as a last minute thing and by 3 my whole crew I normally go out with, but have to plan to be with, all ended up there. It was really a minor thing, but the night was just sort of, perfect... guess it really is the little things in life

for me it would have to be the first wintergalactic back in 2000, with dj tiesto's first north american debut... the vibe and the atmosphere and the music were just fenomenal... i have yet to experience a party with so much energy... its one of those parties that you wish would just never end...

Hmmm, I have a ton, I'll keep it to the actual answer.
Sasha and Digweed at the Kool Haus. The last half hour of Sashas brilliant set he started banging fucking full on trance tracks, I turn and look at Swamper and he is dancing like a mofo. hah I turn to StereoPrincess (and Ray of course) only to notice that we are all so stuck in a moment it was like time was slowing down. (wow this is deep hahah) I didn't have to say a word to either of them, we all knew what the other was thinking. It was a good "group moment" at a party. I totally felt like years of parties had apexed at that total moment. Not to mention Sasha doing the "finger in the crowd thing". You know what I mean where he pushes down and dances. haha Fuck what a night.
I also have some great stories from max graham in London but those are for a different time.

When he started off with Hooligan- hear you now.. and right when you wanted to hear the break beat become a perpetual beat, the man himself does it... i couldnt beleive my ears... perfect mixing of hear you now into glad I ate her....i still cant describe how unbeleivable that moment was.. and it was only the beggining of his set..... and the he played JOSE AMNESIA - THE ETERNAL.... and i died right away becuase i didnt hear that remix of pulsar ever.....

First off.. my two favourite dj's in one night... then...MTV is taping these sets.... and ontop of that.. i get Jamiroquai on film dancing his head off to Paul van Dyk as everyone cheers both of them on!!!!!!!! I am so glad i got that on tape.. I will put it in my documentary.
