What's in a bio?

Hey guys.

I am going to send a demo set to Altitude and it asks for a bio, but what exactly do i put in this bio?
What kind of stuff? I have no idea! Please help! I need your help!

Cheers

here's an example:

DJ Profile:

Do you like DJing or has it got to the stage where you do it for the money, coke parties and wild sex romps?

How many people did you have to go down on to get your first gig?
Did you swallow?

What pisses you off about being a DJ?

What are the materialistic luxuries about being one?

How many groupies have you fucked in 1 night?

Did they swallow?

Do you like promoters?

Whats the tune you would never give up?

Where would you love to play?

Who would you love to play with?

Are you part of the production craze thats sweeping Perth at the moment?

Are you going to get an "international dj" attitude if you make it big in production?

If this does happen what can MFI expect as your DJ Rider?

Will you play for free at all MFI events if the promoter goes down on you whilst/after you play?

Do you expect him to swallow?

Do you think chicks who say size doesnt matter are lying?

What do you think about people who dont swallow?

Do you think people should be more open to anal sex?

Where's Drum and Bass headed?

Where's MFI headed?

Where's Dan headed?

ummm just write a little bit about yourself? thats what i thought a bio was, like how old you are/what your doing etc, how long you been dj'ing and that kinda stuff.

how long do the demos have to be...

Theyre demos of your mixing talents right?, so what is it , can it be like 2 songs mixed together or does it have to be more.

1 hour minimum.

usually if you're gonna get a set, you'll play for an hour. Promoters need to know if you're able to mix well for an entire hour, rather than just mixing one/two tunes.

I've met the guy who runs altitude. Seems like a cool bloke. Certainly loves what he does (putting on parties that is).

To Psygnosis:

No you don't have 2 mix 2 tracks together. Just send in one track. That should be enough. I hear Robert Miles - Childrens a good one.

:P

SWEET. My mix was 75 minutes, and I only had one tiny trainwreck, fixed in about 2 secs. Only noticable to the trained ear
ALso you reckon he'l mind if it's in mp3? My mix is F**KING 60 mb over the CD-R Max
CD-R = 700mb
My Mix = 760mb!

Posted by Joshva on Oct-18-2002 03:52:

Hey Ash can you upload it somewhere so I can have a listen

Posted by matt_a on Oct-18-2002 04:05:

Sorry I don't have enough webspace to upload it I only have a 15mb webspace.

It's on the hub

Posted by Bedrock on Oct-18-2002 06:50:
