I am pretty sure it is not just one person. Much easier if you have a collective all oriented in the same goal/purpose. I think its a bit of a metaphore because it's showing how you can never put a stop to terror.

As for who it is, I'm sure its some twisted group of people that feel this is the time to strike etc. Bunch of lamers.

Yah I agree with Sand Leaper. I believe he's a terrorist and that he does have outside help. He may be working alone, but I think that he has outside help from people. How else can he escape the cops so easily when they put a net on the area? I wonder what terrorist organization is helping him. He's already shot one young kid a couple weeks ago, and now he's threatened to go after even more (as he stated in a note to the cops). He needs to be destroyed.

that is all we know. It's wise not to speculate on whether he is black or white or a terrorist. the man (or possibly woman) is a coward and is taking innocent lives, and needs to be stopped.

Hints, yes, official proclamation, no. Same thing happening right now in Bali: it IS very likely that al quaeda has got to do something with that but no1 has admited anything yet.

What would speak for a terroist is the effect of literally terroizing/frightening an entire area, making their lives miserable. On the other hand Terrorist have never chosen to have the psychological effect their main goal. First came a total destruction with as many deaths as possible, then, as a "positve" side effect, the fear that followed. That would be some change of tactics IMO...
