It's Friday! 53!

What'sup what'sup what'sup??

Dinner with a friend tonight. Going to this awesome Latin joint and gonna cram our bellies with as much food as possible, and hopefully shock and disgust our server like last time we went out to eat together, lololol.


What's everyone else up to?

It's my "support Saturday" in IT land, so I get to work half a day. I was off yesterday, so I took care of the yard work and most of the house chores. We are supposed to get rain Saturday, which we really need, so I'm glad the mowing is done. Might try to talk the wife into sneaking off to the cabin for a few hours to get naked and be debaucherous.

Spending a weekend at the Dutch coast with my wife and kids.
Windy, tulips and no hills for a change.
On the way home tomorrow visit my wife's aunt.

good old fashion hoedown bbq fest tonight

Where is your cabin? Is it like, in the middle of the woods type deal, or on the water?

My paternal grandmother has a 75 acre cattle farm, and it's on the back side of the property down in a little gulf where some wet-weather streams converge.

We used to have a family cottage, but my stupid parents sold it when they got divorced. Wtf.

Post work gym sesh so I can deal with the below and attempt to stay relatively sane :

- shopping for outdoor deck tiles
- brother's bday tomorrow
- drop car off at garage for a summer paint refresher
- setting up a new backup solution for my servers/clients I host
- taxes

Damn, you waited til NOW to do your taxes? Cutting it close! I'm actually getting money back this year! Not much, but better than owing, lol.

My 69 y/o dad, with a little help from me and my brother (and I stress little), built that himself. He's never been a carpenter, and other than basic repairs/mods, he's never taken on anything of that scope. He did an amazing job on it.

Nice, makes it all the more of a special place then.

Nothing much, just some drink, take a little nap once I'm off work and then hit the gym. Last Saturday proved to be fun but took more time to recover than normal. And this Sat will be hanging out with friends by the river drinking.

I like the cabin thing. Im going to a place just as secluded. It doesn't look to be as awesome as that as Chinese people everywhere. Especially in the trees.
