what's the most beautiful language on the planet?

there've been a lot of threads about languages lately, so i thought i'd continue the trend..

so what do u think is the most beautiful language?

for me personnaly, italian is the language i like most. it's got very soft and swirling sounds, it makes me feel happy everytime i hear someone speaking italian.. it sounds so sweet, it's like a gift for the ear.

and no, i'm not gay

i reckon scottish is a beautiful language! if you can understand us cos we hardly ever use real words! our language consists of slang words and thats it! ask technaut! its hilarious to watch foreign ppl trying to understand what we say!

Reading some of these replies, it makes prouder to be part italian.

it's true though, i could go to a girl and say "u have a smelly ****" and she'll think i'm complimenting her. one time it backfired though, b/c she was italian too.

There are so many beautiful languages out there.

I like the Mandarin they spoke in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

I like Spanish (maybe im biased, because I am dating a girl from Ecuador, and she sounds and looks amazing)

Ive never liked French, but that might be because I was forced to try to learn it in High School.

Of all the languages I want to learn, Dutch would be first (cause im dutch Canadian), and Spanish would be second.

and i think tony blair just sounds cool when he speaks. not really sexy as im a guy and all, but he sounds cool, yes im a little strange.
