I saw him and Tiesto this summer at Cream Amnesia. It was 45 euros to get in...it was the best nite of my entire life...better than my bar mitzvah. I AM going next year again for sure! He WILL be there.

...or else - BIG TROUBLE.

He's perfect to follow Tiesto, cause he just keeps you goin and bouncin and boogieing and gigging...unstoppable!

oooooooooh...one more thing....an amazing memory!

It was maybe just after six in the morning, and PVD was spinning GORGEOUS music, and part of the ceiling of Amnesia is glass, and the sun started to shine into the club at sunrise --> trance-induced ejaculation, but not really.

Ibiza is pretty expensive. Covers to clubs are 35-50 euros(I paid 39 euros to see Tiesto/Picotto at Amnesia). 330ml bottle of water in a club is 7euro, and you can't refill it cause it's salt water in the tap.

I don't know if I wanna go there again. Everything is overpriced, but you do get to see ALL best DJs there within a week.

smart business..

Business has nothing to do with it actually. Ibiza is an island in the sea. There is just no way they can have normal water in the tap(where will it come from ? )

45 Euro = 71.20493 Canadian Dollar
45 Canadian Dollar (CAD) = 28.43904 Euro (EUR)

$71 !??!!? HOLY SHIT!

it has everything to do with business. Im sure they can get their taps working with non-salt water the same way other buildings in the island do, but this ofcourse would increase operational costs

When I was on Ios, Greece this summer I didn't know that the water in the shower was salty, so I went to wash my hair. Well, it was 10 euros a night per room, so I wasn't too surprised.

But it's not that they can't have fresh unsalty water on an island, it's not expensive to produce it, come on, Santorini, Malta, Corsica, etc. don't have only salt water running.. it's probably the business in these clubs in question.

Actually everywhere I've been to, there was salt water in the tap: restaurants, clubs, stores and even apartment building where I was staying.

I don't think they have non-salty water in the tap there at all.

Love Poundin' Sensation ibiza

I saw PVD and Tiesto at Amnesia this summer, and it was
great. Amnesia is such a nice club!

I have to say tho, that i didnt find Ibiza all that expensive.
The clubs are (tickets, alcohol, water etc)
but other than that i found everything to be cheaper
than I expected.
I think San Antonio(where i was) might be cheaper than Ibiza town.

Posted by Durafei on Nov-15-2002 23:07:

San Antonio is cheaper indeed...

i saw pvd and corsten play back to back in ibiza 2000. if you go, just make sure you're going on a week that your favourite djs are playing.

Really? So, people shower out of canisters of water imported from mainland? It'd be much cheaper if they actually produced (whatever the process is - distilling, etc.) their own fresh water. Then again, Ibiza is not about class, like Bora Bora, Sardinia, Santorini, Bali, etc.

In any case, if I'm in the neighbourhood next summer, I'll definitely stop by Ibiza for a couple of days..

I've never been to Ibiza, only England and France, but I was too young to party there at the time anyway.

What's with Van Dyk though? The guy must have something against Canada because he never comes here! My friend is Van Dyk's number 1 fan, I shit you not, so it would be nice for me and my other buddies to treat him to Van Dyk one day.

What the hell are you talking about?

"I shit you not" is an expression to emphasise a point as in "I'm not bullshitting you or I'm totally serious."

Geez...I'm sure you've never heard that one before.

Hey bro, no worries, don't take that dude Sooper seriously - he's always talking out of his ass. He's a dick like that, I shit ya not.

Posted by hansolo on Nov-18-2002 16:32:

PVD in Ibiza was insanity and is the reason I am returning this year regardless of the trend followers that show up there. Hopefully the deal will still be Tiesto/PVD back to back, cause that is trance heaven on earth, I shit you not.
