Crisps

i remember back in the good old days at school when i used to have Flaming Hot Monster Munch crips in that cool red foil bag. One day a friend goes to me, over in Australia there called Fucking Hot Monster Munch... is there any truth to this

chips are cooked potatoes that you put salt and vinegar on and dip in tomoato ketchup. Crisps are extremly thin fried potatoes that come in a foil bag in various flavours. My favourite being worcester sauce

Wtf! Worcester flavoured chips.....

Posted by escee on Nov-20-2002 03:09:

my parents are english therefore i knew he meant chips. Calling them crisps is like saying Lunch should be called dinner (yes I know english people which actually call lunch, dinner)

Posted by webmeister on Nov-20-2002 11:08:

Haha, that Walkers logo looks suspiciously like our Lays logo.

On the topic of crsips (chips), can anyone remember those things that looked like cheezels called Toobs?? They came in blue bags and they were oh so nice. Please someone share my passion for this gone but not forgotten recess delicasy!

Posted by webmeister on Nov-22-2002 12:35:

mmm Toobs .. I remember trading my fruit for toobs at recess

and wtf kind of flavour is Coronation Chicken?

Man, if only kids at my school were that generous. A Fruit Salad rollup was the ultimate in recess bargaining. Kids would do anything to get their mands on them.

at primary school chocolate milk was the favoured item for swaps.
