The Broke and Debt Thread

I am in serious debt lol I got a balance of $1000 on my Visa. I owe my brothers about $125. I got about $10 in my account. And about $25 bucks in chum change.

Time to seriously look for employment

Money talks and debt sreams

I like to think I've been scrupolous in money matter. Learnt how to get by w/ no serious income

This post is not meant to glorify being broke but it is nice to know I'm not alone

lol! consider yourself lucky... you could easily pay that off in a couple months with a part-time job! i've got $15,000 in student loans

See....now THAT is nothing. Schools I plan on going to will put me in about...oh...probably $60,000 or more in debt by he time I'm done with school. Bastards I'm saving up now while I still can

unless you're making 25 dollars per hour working no point in saving cos that little that you save aint gonna do much, rather spend it now and enjoy then when you get to school, study your ass off, network and do whatever possible you need to do to become successful, be able to get a good paying job and not have to worry about paying 60k back

Yeah, I'm not saving up for tuition, but I've got to have some money in the bank for things like books and art supplies and crap. Might as well take out a loan for the rest!

I owe my parents about 5 grand and I'm several months behind on my rent (I get a break cus my G-parents own the complex )

I need a job so fucking bad. Not to mention I'm trying to save up for 1200's and my school next year will cost upwards of $40,000 just for admissions. FUCK!

luckily i have no debt accounted to my name. i may have 3.13 in the bank, but thats a LOT better than most college students. i have heard so many retarded stories about people getting 5k into debt cause they needed to buy CDs and other nonessential shit with their credit cards its not even funny...except that its them and not me.

i think the average american is in debt like 20 something thousand...not sure of the numbers. i myself am in about 2 g's. i know i'm lucky but that's a lot of money when you are going to school AND working AND trying to save for tables (priority ya know) AND supporting a long distance relationship (also priority) AND supporting a shopping habbit (err, priority as well) hahaha...*sighs* whatever it's only life and money right?? i plan to make a lot of money
