Why is there never anything to do out on the Island?
Honestly, Long Island has the most piss poor excuses for clubs, like LUXE and Chelsea Street. Why do I always have to go to the city for a good time?
Dont forget Fogy Donkey and Cyberia.
At leat we have the hamptons in the summer : )
the hamptons?
oh yes, the place where all the juice heads go and bop around to that italian song, whats it called?

Its not only LI, the clubs in Queens are pretty lame too. I used to live there for a year and all the people did was DNA cavo and world (not the manhatten world.) It was beat.

Which Flannagans? If you guys are talking Lily's there are a few. Babylon, Islip and Wantagh. Islip is hopping in the summer, since they have a deck..but the crowd can get a little ghetto. Wantagh's a dive and I haven't been to the other one.
I somehow end up on the Hofstra strip a lot. Yuck. Monterey's isn't bad but I HATE Bogart's. I go to Napper Tandy's in Smithtown on Thursday nights (ladies night and the bartender is a sweetie) and occasionally I roam the streets of Huntington Village (The Dodger, Carringtons, Finleys, etc). I am also known to play a little beer pong at the Library (Hempstead?) or have a cold one at the Library (Farmingdale). The Brickhouse Brewery has great beer and someitmes good bands. Speaking of bands, Tuesdays at The Downtown in Farmingdale are fun. Then there is BLUE and Blue Tequila..heading over to Chelsea Street area where we first began...and I really odn't dig it. I have had a blast at Wall Street's and Planet Dublin in Suffolk and the Nautical Mile has a few hot spots as well. Hell, even Spatz in Hauppauge used to be fun....but a lot of these places are better on the summer and NONE of them are clubs. But hey...a few good bars works for me and I don't mind going into the city for a Club night. Ummmmm...where was I going with this? LOL.
P.S.
John, Mitch might be bartending at Monterey's Tues and Thurs and we want to bring in some business. You down for next Tuesday, perhaps? It will be his first night.
