New Year Resolution.....

What's your new year resolution....

Mine.....

1. To get a job
2. Get my ordered vinyl on time FOR ONCE
3. Johan Gielen coming to Perth
4. Buy (or given..) a pair of SL-1200/1210's and DJM-600

Once again I'll probably make a half-arsed resolution to quit smoking, and once again it'll probably last for a total of 12 minutes or something equally useful.

Nonetheless, other new years resolutions may or may not include:

- Writing a sitcom about a lovable journalist named Larry Hatfield and his escapades within his 8th storey Mannhattan apartment
- Marrying a member of the Danish royal family and selling my story to the tablods at a ridiculously high price
- Getting around to buidling my own death star out of the Lego Technic pieces I've got laying around somewhere
- Setting myself on fire to voice my opposition to the size of John Howard's eyebrows
- Stealing from the rich and giving it to the poor in the context of 12th century rural England
- Found the worlds greatest rock-band, but then leave in order to pursue my love for a Japanese conceptual artist
- Performing miracles and founding my own religion where I will take up the position of Junior Vice-President
- Becoming the militant dictator of a small African nation and giving it a funny name
- Finding the mythical land of Narnia and marrying the white witch
- Starring in a broadway musical about people coming to terms with things
- Getting drunk more often
- Using this smilie more
- And to stop boring everyone with lists full of bullshit resolutions

Another half-arsed attempt at qutting smoking it is then.

I always make plenty of these every year...but they never happen!

- finally get my Ls (after 5 months of being 16 ), and consequently get my Ps
- get a job and stop leeching from my parents & to have more than $18.50 in my bank account
- buy decks and more records
- start living a more healthy lifestyle, which includes less junk food, as well as starting some form of exercise
- socialise more, be reckless & party hard...enjoy being an irresponsible teenager

well...a few of those resolutions contradict each other..ah well! it's not like i'll be sticking to them anyway

No more bullshit resolutions.

Things should be done because they should be not due to the new year, or any other poor excuse. Resolutions made like this will not often work.

That said, my new years resolution is

1024x768 as it has been for the past few years.

there are some pretty good ones so far in this thread ie foil cats plans etc
mine are kinda simple
head to the beach alot more
get drunk alot more
get alot more money because being broke as a joke and drunk as a skunk is not a good combination
stop being so f-ing nice to chicks i like
try to figure out chicks <----------- think thats mission f-ing impossible
see every international trance dj that comes out to sydney ( the good ons anyway) and get their autographs aswell
make my own soccer team and finally win a grand final
stop being 'friends' with chicks i want to be more than just friends with <-------- been down that road and it sucks ass
have an awesome time at field day and start my year with a blast
stop boring people with my silly resolutions

just reading my resolutions, i dont think that they're that simple after all !!!

Don't try and figure them out. Chicks have tried to explain girls to me and it's all in code, like a 100000 page manual all in code. It's pointless.

Yep been down that same road as you twice in one year. GOt fucked over both times, don;t think I'll try it again.

Learn to say no to my boss, quite frankly im sick of being a yes man lol

Play a whole year of senior football and hopefully get paid for it
