Remix magazine is pretty good too... though it sort of leans more towards production rather than news...

Dj Mag's a good one... I never seen any magazine devoted to only trance, but Dj Mag covers all electronic music and it's pretty good... and by the way, they're the peepz who put out the best 100 djs... check out www.djmag.com

Mixmag is just jokez... Sometimes I've seen Muzik and Ministry which seem similar to Mixmag...

The funniest magazine is a free one you find in Toronto and New York and stuff, it's called Vice, it's messed as hell but funny as hell... err it has music reviews but isn't all about music...

latez...

Smoking ..umm..something

DJ Magazine is an equipment oriented technical magazine. Mixer is the U.S Version of Mixmag. Mixer's genre classifications are all fucked up. They called Bedrock an amazing trance cd. It's Progressive House! "Sasha & Digweed Trance Superstars, Pvd's Out there & Back, great progressive house/trance". Pvd doesn't produce prog house. wtf?

Muzik is good, expensive though, but comes w/free cd.

It's an "underground music production and DJ performance magazine"... from the makers of Electronic Musician...

I had a free subscription for a few months but for some reason it got cancelled

Check it out at www.remixmag.com

Read This!

i don't know about you guys but i love International DJ magazine from the UK. They cover all types of electronica music. There are usually quite a few great articles and they preview records that are out there in each genre. Check it out at www.i-dj.co.uk

Yeah Dj Mag has alot of technical stuff in it... but it does a good job covering producers and dj's as well... It does a lot of good reviews too... I also like this magazine called Xlr8r...

I've seen DMA and think it's kinda lame...

Posted by tu_face on May-09-2001 21:52:

Mixmag has the best cover CD's... Ministry i have stopped looking at since it went all fuckin garage... the rest i dont look at hardly... i like mixmag though, apart from the cover CD's its got great listings of EVERYTHING that is goin on in the UK over the month... its got good reveiws (forget the genre thing.. we all do it, u should hear some of the crap ppl come out with to define prog lol) of loads of tunes and new CD's.. and of course the 'Mongo Hotline' which is the funniest thing on the planet

peace

Wax

Posted by Ckerr812 on May-10-2001 03:17:

I thought Wax and Muzik were the best, also there is one in north america called revolution...when it first came out it was some cool underground stuff...but last issue I saw was all hip hop....ackkk.... So I don't think I'll be buying that one again :P
