whats the song that was ok, not a bad song, but a decent song, and was totally turned around by a remix. whats your favorite remix of a song out there? i really like transa's remixes of tenshi and sparkles. those would be my 2 favorite.

As mentioned many times before I'd have to go with Armin's remix of Viola. He totally turned that tune into a great one. Goldscan- Sunrise is another track turned around by a good remix (Tiesto's Remix).

Art Of Trance "Madagasga" (Cygnus X Mix)

Loveclub "The Journey" was an okay track, nothing special though but was completely turned around by the Trouser Enthusiasts Remix! One of Platipus's best releases!

There are many awful tracks that have been turned around with brilliant remixes, but that's not what you asked for!

I really liked how Transa transformed Blank & Jones' Nightfly into a really wicked track.. Even though it doesn't sound close to the original, it's still one of my favorites.. incredible

Pants & Corset did a great remix of Nightfly too. I though that was the best one actually

Aria - Dido (Avb Mix)

The Hindu vocals remix of Darude - Sandstorm! Just kidding =P

I think Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy's Song remix is amazing.. The difference between Ferry Corsten's remix and the original is staggering.. They don't even sound like the same song.

true, true. sparkles and tenshi were both good in my book. transa's version of sparkles is one of my favs. vengaboys - kiss (airscape mix) or avb's mix of l'esperenza by airscape is nice too. avb took the already killer track, extended it, made it more uplifting...and in the end....wow...

or airscape's remix of the vengaboys "kiss"??

im sure alot of u have heard dreamcatcher by dj eyal...the original was good but kinda slow..not the type u could play too loud...until i heard a dj here on the radio play this awesum remix which i havent been able to ID to this day...take a listen to this remix of dreamcatcher...its low quality but turn it up to listen..

I think the Megavoices remix of Komodo did wonders for the song.....

Also, Ratty, Lovin you made that song a great one....

and, Darkroom, remix of Need your lovin.....cause the ferry Corsten remix was the worst crap I ever heard him produce....

There are tons more, but that's what I am thinkin right now

hmm...upper level - miss you (sagitaire mix) just came on and i just gotta give this song some recognition here. what a great choon. the original was nice but doesn't compare to this uplifting track. yummmm.

Pvd's remix of Binary Finary- 1998.

The orginal production wasn't good & was weak.


Delerium- Silence (Tiesto remix)

I find it funny that a hell of a lot of remixes out there sound absolutely nothing like the original except for one or two small elements, like vocals or melody... what's the point of calling it a remix???

example: Vengaboys - Cheeka Bow Bow (Transa Remix) (I think)

haha cause they'll get sued if they just take the lyrics or melody. I'm gonna second delerium - silence (tiesto rmx), but then I love all versions of this song hehe.

I have to agree that Delerium's remix of silence is one hell of a wicked ass tune. But the one that tops my list i think is Rising Star-Touch Me (VDM remix)

I thought the subject of this topic was an okay tune that had been turned into a killer by a brilliant remix. If you've ever heard it you should know the original Vengaboys "Kiss" was an absolutely awful pile of shit! If you're taliking about bad tunes turned into killers, I'd have to say Dannii "All I Wanna Do" (Trouser Enthusiasts Mix)!

The pulsar crew tranc mix of balloon's 'monstersound'

Saints and Sinners did a wicked remix of Santos - Camels, but dunno if I'd call it trance. More popular trance that I'd winged about. Their remix added a lot more beef to the track and shows the quality of their remixing.

Yeah, lol.. that's true. I don't know why they do that... i thought of this the other day, and maybe they are doing it to get their tunes more published, since artists like the vengaboys sell helluva lot more than say transa

Can't think of another reason to make a new song and stick on another artists name on it, and make it a remix

the dumonde mix, of Lonely one by Alice Dee jay......Quality.....Orignal...shite....

alice deejay-the lonely one(airscape remix) better than his ok original version. very very uplifting.
