What are some DJ's you would like to see spin in nYc?

1.Airwave--if he spins anything like he produces, then NYC is in for a treat.I could def see him tearing shit up at RoXy.

2. Filterheadz-I love their tech/trance style to producing. I could see them easily spinning at Arc, or maybe even Centro.

3. Gabriel and Dresden--These guys drops bombs after bombs. Ive heard a few sets by them, and I have yet to be disapointed. Again, Centro or Arc would suit them well.

4. Andy Hunter--Not as well known as the others, but I dig his philosphy when it comes to producing. He is all about God and spirituality in his music.

what about you guys? who would you like to see that has yet to spin here, or hasnt stopped by in a while.

Johan Gielen
dammit, I missed him in July - did anyone catch him then (at Webster Hall)?

Kai Tracid

Blank & Jones

Cosmic Gate

Rank 1 doing a live PA
Ditto for NU NRG

Hiver & Hammer

DJ Dean + the other Tunnel (Hamburg, Germany) DJ's; I believe they made the Tunnel Trance Force mix CD series
Has anyone been to the Tunnel (not the one in NYC ) and seen them ?
When in Ibiza, catch them Sunday nights at Privilege.
btw, how is the Friday Xtravanganza night, with resident Alex Gold? I wanted to go, but I lost my ATM card earlier in the week (at the Amnesia foam party), and hence ran out of money.

DJ Astrid

Eddie Halliwell

Rui da Silva, would be good for a Thursday at Centro

Taucher - the guy is a riot to watch. Too bad he hasn't been back since his monthly residency at Webster Hall (ok, better than no place) ended.

Dumonde

edit: hmm... I've listed a good number of hard trance DJ's here. I still love the PVD/Ferry/Armin sounds the most, but I think it would be nice to hear something slightly different. I guess most of the names I've listed haven't become too big in the US yet.
Psy-trance anyone? Maybe Yahel or Astral Projection (set up on djmixes2k now) would be good for that.
How about DJ Snowman? LOL Seriously there's a set by him(?) on d2k now. The Swiss DJ's have some pretty interesting names, including DJ Popeye.

JOhan Gielen is coming to Roxy and Airwave will be coming soon too. Johan I think is either coming the end of Feb. or early March and Airwave isnt scheduled yet, but he will be coming

well, Webster Hall is no place for Johan. He knew it before going there, but he isnt 1 to turn down an offer. He is good like that. Also, it was July 3rd, the official day of mass exodus out of NYC to the Hamptons, Jersey Shore, Vegas, etc... He will be playing @ Roxy which is better suited for him as no one goes to Webster Hall anymore. I can confirm a date for you guys next week when I see him, until then just think of other you would like to see.

Thumbs up Good Question:

here's my list:

1. Oliver Lieb- He's been in town a few times but I always miss him..the man devotes his life to Electronic music under an endless number of aliases..

2. James Holden- The kids amazing...i believe he's been to NY only once...gotta put this man in a main Venue (perfect for ARC)

3. Filterheadz- They rock...and are the best producing duo right now in the business in my opinion.

4. Nu-Nrg- Carrying the energy of what I call "Flash Trance"

the light crowd at webster hall for johan had nothing to do with it being summer - webster hall sucks and no one ever goes there besides tourists, and they sure don't give a shit who the DJ is.

You didn't see the flyer when it was given out outside the club on the PVD @ Exit night?
Maybe you didn't notice cuz he was listed underneath Johnny Vicious
