at first i was only going to post this in western canada forum, cuz i knew they wanted to see.. but then i thought it might be an ok idea to post this here as well, so i dont have to keep posting the address in the chat for all my friends ^_^

I read your whole journal, what a nice trip. Tokyo is a place I've been dying to check out for quite some time now. I'm gonna take a trip there soon but I'm gonna plan my trip more along the date of their Tokyo game show.

well, my visa bore the brunt of the matter.. also i got a lot of money for xmas when people found out i was going.

in general, i saved an EXTREME amount of money because of some circumstances. first of all i stayed with a friend the entire two weeks except the first night (met him when he was an exchange student here), so i paid zero rent. (one of the worst parts about japan is the hotel costs). also, his mom made food every breakfast/dinner. so i basically spent zero on food except for lunch (8 bucks a day, around that).

my plane ticket was around $650 U.S., ROUND TRIP.... even after taxes. theres a travel agency in the states called I.A.C.E. Travel (they are in canada also).. they buy tickets ahead of time so they sell them really fucking cheap.

so, really, most of the money i spent, was on clothes and other shit i bought... and my credit card did that

most of it is really trendy "hip" type clothes... the kinda stuff i really dont wear. i spent all my cash at cyberdog and this other cyber type store, and a few industrialish places.
