Promise vs Technique @ Fez Club, Hull

M.I.K.E (Push) & Airwave, 3hrs, back 2 back
Jon O'Bir
Richard Tullip

back on topic: i prefer airwave more for his GM productions

Posted by BLuEOcEaN420 on Feb-12-2003 17:02:

they are both the products of the Bonzai Label a sub division of Lightening Record...

and they have worked togeather on several projects such as:

*Ultravibe
*Intimo... <- i dont remember if that was M.I.K.E & Jurgen Leyers or l-vee

they also have mixed albums out togeather:

*Battle Of The DJ's 2: Push vs. Airwave

M.I.K.E. mixing cd 1 and L-vee mixing cd2

and they have done remixes for each others projects such as the Airwave Remix of Push songs and whatnot..

yeah im aware of that.. but i would like to see a stricltly push and airwave collaboration on a original production in the future.. that would rock

Ultra Vibe - Choose freedom
Ultra Vibe - Microcosmos

these are the only tunes they've done together, and they are both amazing

I prefer M.I.K.E. btw

Posted by CygnusX on Feb-12-2003 19:56:

Yes yes, they're both from Belgium. I'm proud of them

intimo is with mike and jurgen leyers

True, you'd think that 2 of the best/most popular artists on Lightining records would work together on more than one vinyl!

Posted by Stories on Feb-13-2003 02:26:

I like their two distinct sounds, I wonder how they'd work together... they both use awesome instruments in their songs...

Posted by Sid on Feb-13-2003 04:20:

M.I.K.E for me Push - Strange world (2000 remake) just sends tingles throughout by body whenever I hear it

Posted by hEaT's on Feb-13-2003 04:42:

got to be M.I.K.E. for almost all is production

He produces pretty melodic tracks under Lolo as well doesnt he?

i thought Green Martian - Pitstop was pretty different from the other GM stuff.. its rather "less hard" and more melodic.. btw Green Martian - Wizardry goes perfect with Push vs Globe - Tranceformation

err thats b/c Pitstop wasnt under The Green Martian alias its Captown - Pitstop. in general the capetown alias is alot more melodic than the green martian ones...
the newer Green Maritian songs have a more evil sounding synth and more computerized melody rather than say melodic breakdowns and whatnot..

old green martians songs like:

*Dreams Come True...
*Computer Weekend
*Reality

^^^those are quite melodic, though computer weekend is more edgier sounding... those are quality tunes...

its all good l-vee is fucking aweosme.. theres something about his melodies that give this unexplainable feeling.. but i always wondered why he used the exact same melody for Airwave - Alone in the dark and Fire & Ice - Silent Cry.. both awesome tracks btw, and tiesto, please change your tracklist on the Magik 6 compilation. its obviously NOT Fire & Ice - Forever Young!!!
