Anyone interested in downloading my mix?

Hi TAs.
Since we have Bellie for the hard sound I want to contribute with my own mix, which is more uplifting/melodic high energy trance.

Waiting for your comments...btw is your mix up again somewhere? I didn't get a chance to dl it, yet.

Oh, and I saw the J Scot instead of DJ Scot, but I thought "oh well, looks funny and everybody knows what I mean

Lol, i'm stuck with isdn, so i have to plan every time i download a liveset The next i planned to download was armin @ slam fn 05-18-01, but after that i'll see if i can download yours Sweet track selection though, i'm sure i'll only have good things to say about it..

I've already listened to about half of your mix, and it's GREAT!
Very nice!

I can see that your tastes in trance are the same as mine. I also like the epic/uplifting+FAST combination best of all. Cool arpeggios, good beat, solid mixing.

Perhaps you can recommend to me some other tunes like that?
Also, are these new or old?

@Turbo: You're right, Cosmicman isn't out on vinyl. I used my PC as a third "Technics".

@Eugene: Thansks for the nice comment, yes you are right about me liking the melodic and fast trance. That's because I'm from North-Germany, where Gary D. used to play at 160+ Bpm back in '94
The tracks are mostly new. The first two are a bit older... I'll see if I can make a list of music that is similar to this mix.

@infinity: it is mp3! How did you know? Infin knows his trance...

oh, I have a question concerning my own mix:
can somebody tell me please what mix of RMB that is? I have a white label with nothing on it....

djdawn i finally got around to listening to your mix last night. again great track selection and most of the mixing was seamless. i like your style.

I really look forward to your next mix. Like I said, good style.

Some ideas for future work:
1. Maybe it's better to have less tracks, but make the ones that you use full-length. So maybe 12-13 tracks, each about 5-6 minutes. I think this will be great for home listening, and it will give a specific flavor to your mix. Also, the songs will be more memorable.

2. Make the BPM just a little bit less, maybe 140-142;

3. And a personal request: Can you put more tunes like "Nu-NRG - Energizer", with great arpeggios? That tune is awesome!

I think that if you take into consideration my first 2 points, you can even arrange a contract with www.icupromo.net; many of their trance releases are exactly your style, and they're looking for DJ's, CJ's, and maybe even MP3J's For example that's the company that released ICU Generation Trance, if you've heard that one. On their site they have some information on how to contact them.

Again, good luck, and keep the mixes coming!

Hey Eugene, thanks for your ideas. I definitely like this kind of response better than: "good mix".

Concerning #1
Having lots of tracks in my mix is my specific flavor. It's also a lot easier to make a mix with just 12 tunes, cause you have more time and most tracks begin and end with beats only, which makes mixing even easier. I don't want that.
Have a listen to the "Best of 2000" that will be up tomorrow. That's what I think is a challenging and difficult mix to do. That's also what people know and like me for here in North-Germany.
Same with the speed. Every DJ here is playing at 138 to 145. That's why I'm playing at 150. People love it. Try riding your car to my mix. Makes you SPEED!
As for #3: I would love to have more trax like Energizer. If I find any, I'll use them.

djcresto, I can understand you're only looking for new stuff. Check back in the new forum. I'll have a "June" mix up there with new stuff only. This is just for fun, cause it's like a "Megamix" kind of thing.
Concerning Sandstorm, I'd definitely call it a classic in Germany. It rules. Did you see what happened when PvD played it at Mayday 2000? The place exploded! And it's only in my Mix for 2 Minutes...
